Why aren't control wards in the recommended items for every champ?

Posted: 22 Nov 2017 07:49 AM PST

How do you expect players to buy an item not even the creators recommend?

I've been in way too many games where I'm the only one buying control wards on my team. I buy at least 8 every game. When I used to main support I would buy 15+. You guys really need to encourage the buying of control wards.

I'm not talking about bronze or even gold, there are games in Plat where nobody buys control wards. It's good to have a reminder.

Maybe add a tool tip saying "keep at least one in your inventory" ?

Leveling and Rewards - Improvements to Milestone Emotes, Capsules, & FWotD

Is it really necessary to have two or three notifications telling us "First win of the day has been added to your missions" every single day?

Posted: 22 Nov 2017 03:47 AM PST

There were no notifications before it was a mission so why the fuck do I have to click away all these fucking notifications now suddenly every day just because it's a mission? It even says "Repeating" on the mission too, isn't that enough?

Team Liquid Roster Update (Cody Sun, AnDa will have new teams)

Wouldn't it be good if we earn a small amount of bonus exp when we get S (S-,S+) grade after a game?

Posted: 22 Nov 2017 08:19 AM PST

Like +50 (or 100) bonus exp if we get S from a game would feel very rewarding for our effort and playing good, and it would encourage people to play properly, pretty positive change in my opinion.

Edit: I see all of your concerns in the comments, but hey guys! I didn't mean tie the whole leveling thing to this concept, calm down. Did you read the amount of exp I wrote? Maybe 50 or 100, or even if it is too much, just 25 exp, only a little reward for playing well "in terms of Riots' grading" wise. Just a little feeling of accomplishment.

Clutch Gaming puts out their first piece of League-related content (No Roster Announcements)

Looks like the new teams in NALCS are starting to release content related to their League teams. I know Optic have released some content already as well, not sure if the other organizations have put anything out yet.

I'd love to see a tournament that only let teams ban/pick a champion once in each series

Posted: 22 Nov 2017 10:05 AM PST

I've seen a couple of Dota tournaments in the past that used this concept for bo3/bo5 series and it creates a really interesting dynamic as the series moves on. It would be cool to see the different comps that teams could come up with for late in a bo5 when most of the op champs have been picked/banned already.

I think considering the new runes are creating some interesting builds on stale champions, it would be really cool to see something like this (even if it's just a fun weekend tournament or something). Maybe call it "pre-season" or something.

EDIT: To clarify...

Once a champion is picked or banned, it can no longer be picked or banned in the series. I understand that there are only 22 marksman. This would mean that by game 4 or 5 in a series, there might be no marksman left, meaning that your ADC might end up playing Yasuo, Garen, Irelia, Teemo, or anything really. The fun part is that the top teams in the world could come up with some very interesting strategies for later in the series which could be fun to see.

Another idea that has been mentioned a couple of times is that a champion can only be picked once but can still be picked next game if banned previously.

He does not specify which team, only that news will follow. They will stick together thogh. Maybe they are going to G2 as a package replacement for Zven and Mithy? Or they stay at Roccat and G2 get Forgiven and ?? Either way it's gonna be interesting for sure.
