Just bought (almost) all Clothing in GTA Online. Cost? $22m. Posted: 04 Nov 2017 09:33 AM PDT I thought some people might find this interesting. Probably it isn't really intended that one would buy every variant of every piece of clothing, but today I have done that and the costs are below. To start, I had previously bought all clothing up until the Valentine's Day Massacre update which was in February 2014. From my clothing purchases I could tell that since then I had bought very few items only. E.g. only one flight suit, only one neon bodysuit, maybe a couple of other things. I haven't bought ALL* clothes as there were some masks you need to be in biker gear or something to buy, so I didn't bother with that. Same situation for some jackets. Starting cash: $132 682 401 Buy all masks*.
Buy all outfits.
Buy all shoes and tops*.
Buy all pants:
Buy all glasses:
Buy all accessories.
After this the woman at Ponsonbys has the audacity to ask "are you going to buy something or leave?" All up took about 45 minutes, for a lot of stuff I'll definitely never wear as I can usually be found in an all-black SWAT tactical suit, mask, and green scarf. Or the first neon bodysuit. But I thought people might be interested in the astonishing prices of clothing in this game. Total cost: $21 913 677. [link] [comments] |
I only truly had fun when I had influxes of cash so I bit the bullet one last time. I'm out. Posted: 04 Nov 2017 04:45 PM PDT Rockstar is the last company I expected to get so greedy like EA. Shark cards weren't so bad when first introduced, but now they're a staple of the game. They won't even let you play with the DLC cars in single player without mods to disable their stupid little script that makes the car disappear after a couple seconds. I'm not going to stand for it anymore. This new standard of gaming is wholly unacceptable and needs to be stopped before it gets any bigger or it's just going to be real money and RNG boxes to get anywhere anymore. Rockstar held off for the longest time, but, corporate got their wish. They're swimming with sharks, and whales. I know MC's are going to be in every one of their following games so... I'm just done with them. My all time favorite game company for 14 of my 22 years, no more. I've been a loyal customer and got all GTA titles and almost everyone of their other games. It doesn't matter anymore. If you're cheating money instead of giving it to them, they don't care about you. Hints the no repeal policy. It was worth it to me. I've only had fun in this game when I've had money and can truly goof off with my friends and crew mates. All the time between those cash spikes was endless grinding and dealing with pub idiots. Speaking of which. RIP to all the friends I only knew on the social club. Fuck me right? But as I said, worth it. Got to blast some cars around with the batmobile and get into some gritty dogfights like I've always wanted in GTA. I only managed to legit get the Rustler while missing out on the other great aircraft. The most efficient grinding possible wasn't really helping anything EVEN THOUGH I'M BETWEEN JOBS AND HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD! You know something's fucked up in your model when even Russian devs can provide a more fair system to grind IN A F2P GAME. All the zeros they put across my social club stat board represents how many fucks, and how little patience I have for this bullshit to keep passing. When is everyone going to put their foot down and stop greedy devs like this? When is everyone going to get serious, and stop opening their wallets despite knowing full well the game is going to fuck them dry in terms of time, money, or both? What the fuck happened to unlocking all your shit? Or going on mystery hunts to find crazy and imaginative easter eggs and funny rewards? The last sniff of this we got from R* was the beast hunt crap with half the mystery hidden in files that no normal player would've ever found. 80 or whatever it's up to now, free GB of space. That's like, an assload of indie games, which is pretty much the only good looking part of future gaming now. We already have real ass graphics, real ass physics, and decent VR. Now we just need more good games to go with it. You would've been called the craziest mother fucker on Earth if you said a couple friends in a dusty basement could make a better, or even on par game to a major studio with thousands of employees dedicated to each individual part of the game just a couple years ago. But now, it's becoming the norm, and in some cases, flipped. quote player bases all you want, but the big guys, are D.E.A.D. A vast majority of them aren't even gamers. They just know how to make money and feed addictions. Sigh, rant over. I'm done caring if you guys don't. [link] [comments] |

Glitch or not? I'm level 18, but jobs for Ron, Simeon, and Gerald are locked. Any help? Posted: 04 Nov 2017 11:21 PM PDT PS4. Currently level 18 and transitioned from 360 to current gen and things are pretty different. On 360 I mostly played by myself but was still able to level up pretty well and could go on solo jobs for Gerald, Simeon, and Ron. Since switching, whenever I make a phone call to one of those three, the 'request job' is locked. At level 18 I feel like I've progressed enough to at least unlock one of those jobs. Is this a glitch? I've looked around online and it seems like it is but I'm wondering if there's another explanation or if someone who had a similar problem was able to fix it. Thanks for your time. PS Ron calls and tells me about hangar foreclosures but can't do a job for him, if that give you any idea about my progress online. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Nov 2017 11:07 PM PDT So i've been getting fps drops from 60 to 55 and sometimes 50 and it looks choppy and bad. Wondering if there were any tips to keep a stable fps when playing GTA Online. Build: -Intel Pentium G4560 @3.5GHz -NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti -8GB DDR4 RAM -Gigabyte B250M - DS3H Motherboard I'm thinking it's my CPU bottlenecking my GPU, might need to upgrade but just wondering what you guys think. I'm having some major problems installing custom cars for PC Posted: 04 Nov 2017 10:58 PM PDT So for the last couple days I've tried reinstalling everything multiple times and using all the methods I could find but cannot for the life of me install custom cars. When I go to spawn an add-on car it just says "invalid model" after I quadruple checked the install and made sure I edited the .xml file correctly. I tried to replace a few car models, and if I spawn that car I'm able to see the frame, but it's missing the wheels and it has some serious issues, such as the windows sinking into the ground, the license plate floating off to the side of the car, and the seats in the car seem to be connected to the wheels some how and spin ridiculously in the air as I drive. Any help would be appreciated as I cannot find this problem online and can't solve it myself :( [link] [comments] |

Making 2.1 billion in single player? Posted: 04 Nov 2017 03:41 PM PDT Finished the career again on Xbox One, only did the first assassination mission. Does the assassination method of making 2.1 billion work still? For those unaware, this is the method I'm talking about [link] [comments] |
Best ways to make money without using the stock market or exploits? Posted: 04 Nov 2017 09:33 PM PDT Speaking solely about the campaign story mode, I find the whole stock market thing to be very boring and not overly fond of save-scumming if I can help it, and I don't really want to rely on exploits. So I'm curious what are the other good, and preferably repeatable means of making a lot of money in this game that focus predominantly on actually playing the core game (playing in the sandbox world, not the faux internet)? GTA wont start (or install) win10 Posted: 04 Nov 2017 02:51 PM PDT Hi, I recently got a new pc and now I'm not able to play GTA. I downloaded the GTA Setup Tool from rockstar and when I try to install GTA I get to the startup screen but it wont do anything, it just stays on it for ever. Anyone with the same problem or knows how to fix it? -Edit- After waiting for ever it opened the social club with the message that The Rockstar update service is unavailable (code 202) but when I open the link it says that all servers are working. What's the most populated GTA V RP servers? Posted: 04 Nov 2017 03:10 PM PDT So, I used to play a lot on SA:MP and MTA RP servers a few years back, and I just recently found out that there's also RP servers on GTA V. However, in SA:MP it seemed like 40-50+ people was the bare minimum to have a decent roleplaying experience without people being left out and having the map be fairly populated. Considering the GTA V map is even bigger, I was wondering what servers were the biggest. Apparentely there's a whole bunch of different multiplayer clients so it's hard for me to find the biggest servers. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 04 Nov 2017 10:08 AM PDT Now I'm one to pride myself in holding max ammo almost all the time, but recently, my smg, mg, and sniper ammo have been dropping to about 600 each every week or so. There is no physical way I use 8500 ammo for each type of gun within that period. What's happening here? [link] [comments] |
