[Media] If you think you're having a bad Monday...

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 03:38 PM PST

I feel like I'm getting some mixed messages here...

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 02:07 PM PST

CP690, finally caught up after 2 & 1/2 years. This calls for a piss-up, and I don't care that it's a Tuesday.

Adventures as a Noob Pt.4-Morrowind Sales Pitch

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 04:14 PM PST

[Media]Saw this and thought it was funny enough to post it here.

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 08:42 PM PST

Something is bothering me about Vvardenfell.

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 12:41 PM PST

When you are in Vivec City and you look southward towards Morrowind's mainland you sort of see pinetrees. As if you would look at Skyrim. Take a look at this picture. Although it is difficult to see, I make out pine trees and not mushrooms in that picture.

I don't think that this is the way it should be. I'm not expecting to see details like the city of Ebonheart or Davon's Watch but I am expecting to see at least some mushrooms.

To be honest, it probably bothers me more than it should as it is just a finicky detail but I don't think it is such a small detail for it to be ignored. I think this is bad work by the world builders.

Zenimax, please fix!

EDIT: To make my point a bit clearer here is a picture of the same shoreline with the Temple of Vivec.

Got my first vMA clear after avoiding it like the plague for years.

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 08:32 PM PST

I know many have done it before me but I don't care I had to share. I avoided doing vMA for quite literally years... I did it several times on normal on multiple characters but it seemed like such a daunting challenge that I was simply terrified of doing it.

The Orsinium event prodded me to try (although funny enough I just cleared it now... Holidays and family got in the way!). I geared up my mag Sorc with 5 Necro, 5 Juli, 1 Iceheart and went at it.

Having experience in normal MA and vet trials helped alot. The hardest stage for me was probably the poison stage... Damn volatile poison got me so many times. I think I burned through about 100 soul gems in all.

For those of you scared to try it, I say give it a damn shot! Read some guides beforehand and maybe some videos too, there are plenty out there.

I can tell that doing it again won't be so bad as I know the mechanics now. You either have to have some good DPS to nuke things down or be patient and pick your spots.

For anyone wondering, I got a defending bow. Thank God for transmutation! Now I think I'll give it a shot on my Stam Sorc. :)

You're the Grand Champion!

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 11:28 PM PST

I have said this before, I will say it again. I want an Adoring Fan pet to follow me around. I worked hard to get that title, and I want the admiration I richly deserve.

I also want to knock Bosmer off cliffs, but I'd settle for admiration.

I would pay good money for an Adoring Fan pet. ZOS, if you are listening, I am offering you money. Please take it in exchange for a fat Bosmer, thanks.

[PC] Is it just me that hates getting boosted?

Posted: 28 Nov 2017 02:44 AM PST

Im a fairly new player and I have recently started using the Dungeon Finder - it seems to be a regular occurance that there is always a massively high level (600cp or whatever) in our instance that runs through it in 5 mins & makes the whole experience very underwhelming.

Is there anyway to just group with people of my level or thereabouts?

Group invite etiquette from strangers

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 06:46 PM PST

Hello! Completely new player here and relatively new to MMORPGs too.

It makes me super happy when I find strangers who are taking on the same quest and they help to defeat the monsters. A few times I have been invited to join a group by the individual after battles however I'm not sure what that entails persay and I'm a bit introverted/shy.

What is the etiquette for invitations from strangers if you accept? Do I have to verbally communicate with them? How does it generally work if you're in a group i.e. go on quests together trade etc?

Any advice or information helps!

Thank you.

Give Magicka Users A Melee option

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 08:10 AM PST

This has been stated probably multiple times, but I truly believe ZOS needs to implements something along the lines of bound weapons (like the ones from Skyrim) into the game to give it more build diversity and to give Magicka dps' more diversity than the old lightning/ fire staff. I am truly sick of playing with these two weapons.

Slag town is a really unfortunate name

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 06:45 AM PST

Just started playing the clockwork city dlc and came across Slag Town. Being from the UK that name makes me laugh every time an npc says it.

Are there any viable solo werewolf pvp builds?

The Skooma den!!

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 07:12 AM PST

[PC] Looking to start once I get back from my deployment.

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 06:09 PM PST

I'm looking to get into this game when I get home, mainly to reconnect with my brother and stay in touch with another friend. I saw this deal on the Humble store and just wanted to know if buying this would give me the most up to date version of the game along with access to all content.

I may wait until Christmas (I can't play until January anyways) for a better deal but either way I'd like to know about the content it's giving me. I've done a bit of googling but want to get an answer from the people that know. It can be hard trying to pick up a game like this and learn what all the terminology means for each piece of content so I want to make sure. Thank you.

Damage Abilities that scale with Health: Is it really just Gripping Shards and Arctic Blast?

Posted: 28 Nov 2017 01:51 AM PST

I know a lot of shields or heals scale with max health, but are those the only two damage abilities that do? Soloing's a bit slow, and I'm trying to figure out how to balance Health vs Stamina on my tank Warden.

Werewolf help

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 06:50 PM PST

Hey folks! I'm creating a werewolf from scratch tonight. I'm leaning Orc Nightblade and using 2H and bow, but I'm not locked into that. I know this isn't going to be an amazing end game character, but I want something fun to do questing content and maybe dungeons. Anyone have any builds or tips for werewolves? I'm not likely going to do much PvP, so I'm mostly a PvE guy. Thanks in advance!

What are you hoping to get from your FREE Flame Atronach crates?

Posted: 27 Nov 2017 08:35 AM PST

In case you didn't know, the complete list of items has already been released. What are you hoping to get from your free event crates? I'm personally really looking forward to seeing what the Infernal Epidermis skin looks like in-game.

Shameless plug: If you play on PC and would like to easily share what you get out of your crates, consider downloading Faunter's Crown Crate Logger from esoui or from Minion. It's an addon that automatically takes note of which items you receive, and everyone's results are then merged into a massive online drop rate document for easy reference. The more crates people open with the addon installed, the more accurate each item's drop rate becomes. Make your friends download the addon as well--no buts! :)

Edit: Datamined item pictures for those who are interested. Not all of them are available from the crown crates, though.
