It's a real pain when you're at high-level GR's and every attempt to upgrade your gem fails. Having this Consumable would help you in perfecting a gem. Of course, not all Gem Hoarders would drop this, but they'd be the only ones who can. I know, more RNG, but it'd give people more reason to chase Gem Hoarders later on. [link] [comments]  | ||

Wizard is by far my favorite class with the Demon Hunter coming in a close second. The Kazra spearmen are my Achilles heel. Seriously, they ruin everything for me when I'm trying to push rifts. I'll be in GR70+ with my Manald Archon or Marauder Hunter, absolutely destroying everything in floors 1, 2 and 3 and on the fourth floor, the Kazra spearmen will show up and instakill me over and over and over again. How do you guys deal with it? Any advice? I know I can push very high with my builds but I keep running into those clowns every single time. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Epiphany Bug May Have Returned - Your WoL Monk May Be Sometimes Doing A Third Of Their Damage Posted: 14 Nov 2017 05:41 PM PST Earlier today I discovered a bug while playing the Wave of Light monk build. The usual setup, all legendaries buffing Sunwuko and WoL, except one item which is not functioning properly. Kyroshiro's Blade fist weapon seems to be applying a similar bug to the old 8-season running Epiphany bug. Quick reminder, the old epiphany bug "caused Wave of Light to sometimes fail to deal damage when players were under the effect of Epiphany". Fixed in patch 2.4.3. This new bug however causes Kyroshiro's Blade to not buff the damage of Wave of Light, essentially making it a stat stick. When under the effects of Epiphany, with high attack speed, and likely a high latency, this bug will occur; Kyroshiro's Blade damage buff will not affect Wave of Light. Seize the Initiative and 1-2 10% attack speed buffs can be enough attack speed to experience this issue. If you are playing a WoL monk with this weapon, and you have high attack speed and high latency, consider watching your damage numbers during Epiphany and see if they jump to a third of your large hits. For example, a 300B hit will drop to a 70B hit. Try turning on "Display Critical Damage Numbers" in the Gameplay options for better visual distinction. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 14 Nov 2017 05:28 PM PST Since 2.6.1 ive been getting hangups where i'll just freeze for 1-10 secs and then it catches up. I thought it might have been from having background stuff like youtube playing music. I've closed everything including steam and it does it like every 30 secs. I did do the verify game on blizz app about to try reinstalling i guess. anyone have this issue or ideas for fixes? and my ping/connectivity stays in the green around 120 ping which is kinda normal for me in d3 i think. He's wearing an arcstone, gold = xp bracers, harrington waistguard (for all those chests in GR) and restraint without focus. He also has zero cooldown so the wait for akkarats champion is painful. A lot of the stuff in-game is simply just not explained. I'm just starting to play, and for example it's unclear what Str Dex even does for my character? Are certain types of gears class-bound? Neither is there any information on Durability, like if I'm just shooting arrows into a wall does that use up the Durability on my bow? Or does Dura only go down when hitting something like a barrel or an enemy? If Dura reaches zero will my weapon just not work or will it disappear forever? From a quick glance some NPC buys item at a higher price than others? Some also sell back the items with the same cost, but others sell back for much more? Why? Really need some reliable documentation. If it was just a graphics overhaul then sure that's fine; but given how many new things are added/changed, it's unfathomable that the Dev who made this mod has not written one. | Don't forget, sometimes us mediocre players need to increase toughness to DPS better! Posted: 14 Nov 2017 09:00 PM PST I'm by no means good at this game, and often forget that more DPS doesn't always translate to faster rift times. My Rathma build just swapped out the optimal Witching belt for Dayntee's and lost a solid 11/12% damage but gained significant toughness. I found my ability to stay in the thick of things and move forward without spending as much time/effort on survival DRAMATICALLY improved my solo speedrifting times. Don't be afraid to forgo some of the ridiculous DPS season 12 has to offer if staying safely alive allows you to utilize the DPS you have more easily! The top builds typically assume you're a better player than I am, so always keep that in mind. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 13 Nov 2017 10:46 PM PST Hey, I just wanted to share something very odd and funny that happened to me and my clan mate tonight- As we just finished up a couple of normal rifts, we thought we would try to find some people for some greater rift runs, we found a zdps necro and a support barbarian that wrote to me after I announced it in a couple of community chats. Everything started of great, we were doing greater rifts 92:s quite fast and the zdps necro in our group was a really funny guy, but after 2-3 rifts we noticed that the barbarian was a bit slow with clicking pylons, picking up healthglobes(the main job in this setup), I thought nothing of it since perhaps he was lagging or just tired, it was 4am after all. But then on our fifth run, we all gathered around a pylon, waiting for the barbarian to click it as he was the one with Nemesis Bracers equipped, he kept whirlwinding around it for 10 seconds or so, that's when we asked him if he could click the pylon. After an additional 5 seconds or so he clicked it and we kept on going.. Suspicious Then the same thing happened and we typed it out in chat, he wasn't answering like before... and then, it was obvious Every time someone died, the barbarian ran full spead towards the dead person with less than 0.5 second reaction and started ressing them, even in a huge pack of mobs, this happened every time someone died, same thing happened to the future pylons, he would simply whirlwind aroudn it for 2 seconds, charge over it a couple of times, just obvious AI interaction.. this guy actually joined our private game and seriously started botting and the worst part is how advanced it was since we didn't actually notice it until 5-6 greater rifts after Have you guys had any experience like this? I've seen bots in vanilla d3 and early seasons, but this was next level stuff, I can imagine that many greater rift groups wouldn't even notice that it was a bot and that's pretty scary [link] [comments]  | ||
