I got stuck on a puzzle in the Water Temple

At first I thought the solution was quite a Longshot, but it worked!

If Hestu puts Korok seeds in his Maracas, does that mean he's playing music with the bodies of Korok infants? Korok fetuses, perhaps?

Posted: 05 Aug 2017 08:23 AM PDT

Now all I can think of is Link carrying around Korok fetuses which he will later exchange for inventory space. Also, why does Hetsu always require more seeds? Where are they going?

Spent the day at the lake. Decided to wind down in the evening and play with some letter tiles at the campground. Here's the result a few minutes later.

Uhh guys a blood moon?

I don't know why the name Zelda was popular in the early 1900s, but we can guess the reason for the new popularity.

The one thing I’m hoping DLC#2 adds to BOTW

Posted: 05 Aug 2017 09:14 AM PDT

I know everyone's hoping for a dungeon or fleshed our characters for the Champions etc.. but I'm really hoping they add a single vendor located somewhere in the world that repairs weapons that are about to break.

I find that I constantly load my weapon inventory with weapons I like to collect rather tha nones that I actually use. My weapon inventory consists of the Sword of Six Sages, Sword, Fierce Deity's Sword, and random swords that I find in the world that I like. I usually switch between two swords, the Master sword and whatever other sword that has a lot of attack power. I often switch between these two whenever one breaks.

It would be nice if there was somewhere I could go and pay money and jewels to in order to repair swords that are on the verge of breaking so I can use them instead of keeping them locked away afraid they'll break and I'll lose them forever. Ideally I'd also like more than three weapon stands available in your house because I filled that up pretty quickly too!

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Deluxe Edition Guide is 30% off

I've heard lots of covers of Sarai's Song, but this trombone sextet is really doing some different things!

Can someone explain the dark Link to me?

Posted: 05 Aug 2017 04:06 AM PDT

I completely and shamefully admit that I know almost nothing about the LoZ games, but one thing that always stood out to me is that I only ever heard of one encounter with Dark Link, and that was a single boss fight.

Does this character appear in multiple games or something? And is there some sort of lore about it? Again, the only thing I know about him is the boss fight on/in/at a lake.

Fanart - BotW Link's Climbing Gear

Do you guys ever think that Ganon doesn't get enough attention as a well-developed villain?

What are some other Zelda foods?

Posted: 04 Aug 2017 08:22 PM PDT

I haven't been on in awhile, so I don't know everyone's general opinion on the recipe aspect of BotW, but I think it's pretty interesting. I was thinking though, there really isn't any kind of food mentioned in any other Zelda games; the concept seems unique to this game. Milk and meat is really all I've found. Any obscure food items throughout the universe that come to mind?

Majora's Mask: 3DS or N64?

Posted: 04 Aug 2017 02:01 PM PDT

I'm sure this has been asked a million times here but I was wondering which version I should get. I've been in the mood to play a Zelda game lately.

So far I've played the original Zelda, Link to the past, ocarina of time, majora's mask and breath of the wild but BotW is the only one I've played as an adult, the rest I played as a kid years ago and never completed. Mainly because I was a dumb kid and could never figure out what to do in these games.

I haven't played Majora's Mask probably in like 15 years or so and I barely remember it. I just remember I didn't get far because I'd always get confused near the beginning of the game. Due to me putting a lot of time into this game as a child and never completing it, I'm determined to make this game my bitch as an adult.

The problem is, money has been tight for awhile now. Majora's Mask on Wii U VC is $10 while the 3DS version is like $36 on Amazon.

IS it worth the extra $26 to buy the 3DS version or just buy the N64 version ported to the Wii U? Part of me wants to play an updated HD remake or remaster whatever it is, but part of me wants to beat this game in its original form, since it gave me a lot of trouble as a kid and I'm sure the 3DS version has been changed a bit. I'm afraid it may not feel the same if I beat an easier, or different version depending on how extreme the changes are.

Thoughts?
