Posted: 16 Jul 2017 10:57 AM PDT When I think a mage, or a wizard, or just someone with magicial powers and a staff; i think something like: this. What we have in game however is people who uses their staves as a striper pole that stick to their back. Alot of mmorpg in fact even some single player rpgs following this trend these days. I get it, its easier, it prevents lots possible clipping and all... but i kinda scream internally everytime i see someone walking with a pole sticked to their back. Staves and scepters historically used either to look cool/regal/commanding/intimidating, or as a walking aparatus (cane). Even Khadgar had something like that in WoD for example. when you clicked him his staff would teleport to his back for a split second and teleport back to his hand. When i see that i thought blizzard is experimenting with this, and getting ready to polish it and make a norm. Thoughts? [link] [comments] | ||
