| Riot Games sues Clorox Bleach for being a League of Legends knockoff Posted: 11 Jul 2017 09:14 AM PDT Riot Games, indie game company turned corporate powerhouse, has taken another swing on alleged 'brand copies.' The latest is Clorox Bleach, an ex-sponsor of TheRainMan's stream and many others. Just a few months ago an Australian League staffer was caught doing laundry with bleach--choosing the product over air conditioning and groceries. Now, however, Riot has expressed interest in crushing the Clorox brand. "They robbed us of our likeness," complained Gary Coleman, Riot lawyer. "They bottled up our game and told people to scrub their floors with it." Among the similarities listed, Riot Games complained about the toxic nature of bleach. "Drinking it makes you sick," Coleman claims. "Prolonged skin-contact makes you sick. If you put it in a fish tank, all the fish will die. At this point, I have no idea what I'm talking about now--League or Clorox Bleach." Our own researchers discovered bleach is commonly used to whiten fabrics. While not present in League, whitening is a popular subject for many of its personalities, such as challenger player Pants Are Dragon. This news comes just a day after Riot Games sued mobile game makers. Mobile Legends, among the most popular games being hit, will be yet another tragic loss for Europe following Rift Rivals. In fact, after losing their third game in the finals, Unicorns of Love immediately whipped out their HTC phones and started scrimming against ML team MalaysiaLove. Worst of all, the move marks the extinction of the rarest species on Earth: EUW gamers polite enough to use voice chat. It also marks the end for one of the greatest champions designed: "Freya, a warrior princess girl who can attack or defend as well with a change of her sword, and turn into a dark warrior ready to kill or a monster hunter dressed in purple who is very evil." | Posted: 11 Jul 2017 04:44 AM PDT I believe having an SSD in my build loads up the game too fast for the tips to be readable. Maybe put the tips in the champion arts/borders screen as well where the "VS" is. Edit: Rioter /u/Reinboom posted below "We also changed the loading sequence sometime in the last couple months, causing a bunch of tip time to be wasted on "nothing". But there wasn't great new tips for anybody to care. :P Tips were configured to 10 seconds duration. I've gone ahead and increased this to 60 seconds (ending, of course, when loading finishes if loading is faster than 60 seconds). Thanks for pointing this out." [link] [comments]  | ||
