Are dungeons usually this hostile?

Posted: 16 Jul 2017 03:00 AM PDT

I tried my first dungeon and was kicked immediately when I asked for help on what to do. Is this common and are their any guides I can read so I know how to do the dungeon?

Posted: 16 Jul 2017 12:20 AM PDT

Can anyone explain what the lore behind the Argonian Behemoths is? Also wondering if anyone can recap the story during Ruins of Mazzatun.

[NA][PC] Cyrodil

Posted: 16 Jul 2017 01:24 AM PDT

So I'm level 45 so I decided to check out Under50 cyrodil before I hit level cap. I got in here and spent 15 mins running to a contested location.....didn't find any other players. Now running my ass back across the zone to get to the main world. Am I missing something?

When is the next ESO Double XP event?

Posted: 15 Jul 2017 09:30 PM PDT

I was framed! Framed I tell you!

Posted: 15 Jul 2017 09:20 PM PDT

So, what's the deal with being attacked by the guards even when you haven't done anything? Multiple times now, in the bank of Daggerfall, I've been killed by guards while accessing my bank. I never visibly catch what happens prior to this, but I hear. I hear attack sounds or like someone triggering a buff. Suddenly, bank UI closes, my weapon is drawn automatically, the way it does when a buff is applied or you are being attacked, and a message pops up telling me I will be killed on sight by the guards, and I'm left dead on the floor wondering what just happened.

What in the living hell is going on? Is anyone else aware of this? Is this a bug? An unfortunate result of some game mechanic that can't be changed? Its really annoying trying to take care of business and suddenly being forced, through no fault of my own, to either use a soul gem or respawn at the nearest wayshrine just to be able to get back to said business.

Just to clarify, when getting attacked like this, I have no prior bounty. Zero.

Healers reporting for duty when VoM is the pledge

Posted: 15 Jul 2017 11:31 AM PDT

When did I stop treating a delve like an elder scrolls dungeon and more like an MMO?

Posted: 15 Jul 2017 08:22 PM PDT

Anyone else just rush through dungeons to get them over with? I was doing the daily in Vvardenfell for dwarf parts and noticed I wasn't stopping to open everything to take every piece of anything out with me. I felt ashamed.

Open more houses and house styles in main cities for us to purchase.

Posted: 15 Jul 2017 03:52 PM PDT

Am I the only one that wishes we had more choices for housing in the cities and villages? Can it really be that hard to add a couple of more choices per major city so we have a larger selection to choose from?

[PC] [Win 7] How do you stay online through hours of inactivity?

Posted: 15 Jul 2017 08:27 PM PDT

During hours of researching (when I am AFK) I always get kicked for inactivity. I have tried a couple of free macro programs to move my mouse around, but not found one that works. What do people do?

[PC] Returning player - what are the biggest changes?

Posted: 16 Jul 2017 01:23 AM PDT

I stopped playing around this time last year, due to just generally getting bored with the game and getting tired with having to change equipment all the time because of the new patches. What are the most significant changes to PVE in the past year? I'm specifically interested in what's happened to mage characters (every class) for endgame PVE. For example (my biggest annoyance with the game) is it still optimal to run around with dual wield swords as a mage DPS instead of a staff?

Some questions from a noob!

Posted: 15 Jul 2017 03:07 PM PDT

So I recently started playing again and my highest character is lv23 (so definitely noob) but I have some questions!

Before my questions I should state that I'd also accept any tips you could offer a new player!

• What's the fastest way to level (excluding power leveling)? Questing, pvp, dungeons?

• Will I have enough skill points to get all my class/race skills (not including world skills) or will I have to reset my skills later?

• What is "good dps"? No matter what I use it seems like I'm doing the same amount (2k-5k with the occasional 10k heavy crit on my tank). My healer and tank are similar levels and put up almost identical numbers.

• How would you rank the weapons for dps e.g duel wield>bow>destruction staff etc.

• On a scale of 10 how difficult is it to become a werewolf/vampire without buying it?

• How geared do you need to be to power level someone, how effective is "skyreach"?

• Is it a good idea to put all your attribute points in one attribute? My tank is 100% HP and healer 100% Magicka.

• Is the PVP skill tree worth training and are there other rewards for playing it?

• Is the $10k mount worth buying?

• Are professions hard to learn?

• What are the good professions for making gold? Which are good for actual use? In wow I did skinning and leatherworking which at the time was great for gold and I could make full set gear for when you'd hit max level, it was quickly replaced but always better than the previous gear. (Also the giant moose mount oh baby)

• Other than ESO+, what things in the crown store are really useful to purchase?

• What do you play? Faction/Race/Class/Role/Weapon

Thanks to everyone who answers any of these!

Edit: any links to basic guides would be cool too

Magsorc pet or no

Posted: 15 Jul 2017 04:57 PM PDT

First of all, I think I read that there will be a bonus xp event coming up. Is this true?

Second, in trying to decide between pet sorc or not as I will have to farm for either necro or netchs. I know that petsorc has higher dps but also read that it is harder to master because you have to manage pets with heavy attacks. I thought I saw that some trials like vAA and vMoL cannot take pets because of some mechanics. Can anyone give any insight into these? I've only ever done normal trials on a stamsorc. Thanks

Is morrowind worth it?

Posted: 15 Jul 2017 06:46 PM PDT

This game has been out for 3 years and...

Posted: 16 Jul 2017 02:06 AM PDT

Crystal Blast is still a thing that exists.

WHY?

No individual who has any idea how this game is played can justify choosing this morph over its counterpart, Crystal Fragments.

ZoS Pls.

I genuinely can't see why we can't convert non crafted gear styles.

Posted: 15 Jul 2017 08:27 AM PDT

I don't know about anyone else, but Half the reason I don't bother with fancy motives is that they will clash horribly with dungeon loot. And thus, when a new crown store motif is rolled out, I ignore it.

Also, it makes the imperial/morag tong conversions that came with various game editions pointless.

It's not even a pvp thing, like sets being recognisable at a glance, as you can just bury it under a costume.

So, what's the bad side of letting us do this? I can only see good. We get the ability to tailor our appearance more, zennimax gets increased motif sales. Everybody wins.

I for one, would like to make use of my imperial/morag tong conversions.
