My Ra Cosplay at AnimeNext 2017!

This weekend I debuted my Ra cosplay at AnimeNext 2017 in New Jersey!

My jaw/beak was fully articulated and moved with my jaw as I talked, and the eyes had a "follow me" effect. The costume was surprisingly very comfy too!

I ended up taking home first place in the novice division of the con's cosplay masquerade. But the highlight definitely was seeing little kids run up to me and give me hugs!

Skin Concept Idea for Nu Wa; Necromancer

Now that the Necromancer is soon about to be added to Diablo 3 I got the idea of a skin concept for Nu Wa, considering her kit has abilities which fit the theme of a necromancer quite well if they were to design some alternate appearances for them. The concept I had in mind draws inspiration from the Death Knight class from WoW and the Necromancer class from Diablo. My idea for the abilities are;

  1. Passive; Probably Skulls and bones floating around

  2. Mysterious Fog; A mist going along the ground, with gravestones showing randomly when the mist traverses along. (Gravestones show on the ground with the mist like when using an UV-light to look at "invisible" ink)

  3. Clay Soldiers; Nu Wa raises skeletal warriors to fight for her, wielding random melee weapons, or just swords

  4. Shining Metal; Nu Wa shoots a Bone Spike

  5. Ult; Nu Wa flies up into the clouds and summons giant ice shards/bone spikes to fall down on her enemies.

Dont got any art yet as my drawing skills are pretty poor, but if anyone would like to help out, the help would be greatly appreciated :3

Hi-Rez, It's known that I love this adventure, but this needs to stop....

This may be just me, but I believe that the diamond cap needs to be set at 10, here's why...... There is literally NO other use for them than redeeming gems. You get 10 gems for every 1 diamond and Hi-Rez caps the maximum gems, at 100, as a gift for buying the adventure at a discount (I guess). However, it's REALLY ANNOYING when I do a couple of easy runs for epic items so I can effortlessly complete hard mode and get NOTHING because I keep getting stupid rubies and diamonds (don't get me started on rubies; why let non-bundle players have them if they can't use them). All I'm asking is that you either cap the maximum number of diamonds at 10, or make another reward available with diamonds. For Example: for every 10 diamonds you can get 1 enigma chest.

Team Fight Ability Damage Recap is one of the best implementations for Twitch Smite in a while!

So, I have 700 hours worth of playtime, I've played every role multiple times, played many different gods in those roles, and yet every single game I do ridiculously horrible. In League matches, I get the standard "uninstall" or "gtfo trash" kinda hate mail from the oh so lovely MOBA playerbase. Its beyond a joke at this point. I can't even do well with the strong or OP gods. Cernunnos? Nah, not gonna get a kill. Hades? I don't get why people like him. Bellona? Noperino. Osiris? Afraid I'm not quite good enough to play him either. Its not fun losing the majority of the matches I play. I just want to improve and yet after 700 hours the most I can say is I know how to play the roles. I mean, I see someone get 2 or 3 kills in a game amd I think they're godly compared to me. Pls help.

  • Do not respond to the BM. If they elicit a response out of you, they won. Remember; A BMer will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

  • If you must BM try BMing out loud. If you cannot deal with how badly a game is going do not start yelling at your team via comms or VGS, it is more likely to get you banned. Try to just say it to yourself out loud first.

  • Music can help. Obviously, with the right music you can de-stress yourself, so if you find yourself getting angry, nervous, frustrated etc just put on some music you find calming. Heavy metal probably won't help but something you know can get your mind off of the situation.

  • Everyone can have good and bad games; This is beaten to death but you and them can have an off day. BMing someone will never help someone do better.

  • If there is an argument starting just drop the subject even if they continue on. I tend to be the type to try to get the last word in on an argument and it isn't worth it. If someone is clearly bothered or doesn't want to just drop it, mute them if they won't.

  • Take dying as a chance to learn, not to yell. This is also a whole 'how to get better thing' that I usually tell friends who are new to the game. Sometimes just replaying what happened in your head and find out what you did wrong can help. Not what your teammates did wrong

  • Most importantly, Starting the game off in the lobby with a friendly hello can make the difference. Sometimes, people are having a bad day from real life and a simple greeting such as: "Hello! =)" can make it better and set a good tone for the rest of the match.

  • Almost forgot; K/D doesn't matter. K/D/A DOES. Just because your mage is 0-3 doesn't mean he is feeding... he could be 0-3-21 and just never got the last hit in.

Remember, a positive attitude and proper use of VVGN VER and VEA can help the game be just a bit better.
