Posted: 25 Jun 2017 06:16 PM PDT So I decided that I would spam a high skill cap hero for 50 games to learn more heroes and maybe some other things, had a list of a few heroes and then used a thing that randomly chooses 1 one of them. It ended up being Earth Spirit. The only knowledge with this hero I have is from some outdated guides i've read, and I have no idea how to build or skill him. I only know how to do a few comboes, the most advanced one being Grip > Roll > Ult > Kick (preferably into tower/team). If anyone could give me some tips it would be very nice, and maybe tell me about his builds and what exactly you do in fights. The way I think i'm going to play him is as a roamer or support, depending on what works best for me. [link] [comments]  |

I was in 3,2 in 3 months ago, and it was easy to get here, maybe because I was more calm. Now I'm tilting almost everygame, and the game became harder, because I'm kinda nervous. Anyway, I was playing this unranked game, just to warmup, and picked SF against sniper 1v1 (thinking that Lina was coming to mid, but anyway). I guess I lost the lane, but I don't think that SF should lose against sniper. Can you guys give me hints what I did wrong and what I could do better in the future? Thanks! [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 25 Jun 2017 08:18 PM PDT https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/3274341878 (I was the Night Stalker) I felt like I did pretty well as an individual, but I really don't know what I could have done to help my team not get destroyed, especially considering how they were immediately counter picked in the very beginning. I was dominating my lane and ganking other lanes early and throughout mid game and doing well in that phase, but then we were completely destroyed towards the late game. | Posted: 25 Jun 2017 03:38 PM PDT I made a new account, I played 45 games, 29 wins 16 losses. Nearly 2-1. I mostly lose when there's a 3 or 4 party stack and they go 5-30 but anyways for games where noone are partied I certainly win. My question is how many games until I can play ranked (I never registered my # with my old account) and shouldn't I be playing with people closer to my level? I don't even think these are 2K scrubs they're 1K although I had 3K mmr solo/party teammates in the occasional game. | I want to start playing more Shadow Fiend, how do I itemize him and have game presence? Posted: 25 Jun 2017 09:43 AM PDT Hi everyone, I'm a 4k midlaner that was 4.4 recently but then dropped to 4.1. I think I need to work on some of my flaws a little bit and watch my replays. I feel like that if I get good at Shadow fiend I will get good at the midlane because of the mechanics that he utilizes. Now don't get me wrong, I know how to play SF, skill SF, but I lack in itemization and game presence with him. I want to know what items I should go, and why. My current build is very static and doesn't change much: Bottle > Treads > Aquila > Dragon Lance > Shadow Blade > then go Butterfly or Daedalus or BKB or Desolator etc... I feel like a big part of my losses as SF is just itemization and game presence. Which brings my to my next problem, of course, is game presence. If you could provide me some information on when I should start snowballing or if I should be rolling with the team. It's a very needy and sloppy post but I'd like some help if you guys can. All he does is spam quills and then youj have to back up for however long and wait for it to wear off before you farm again. Once he hits lvl 2 and gets his passive, lane's basically over. I was playing battle cup yesterday with what was a pretty solid team, and they wanted me to play a 2nd last pick terrorblade (other team got the actual last pick). The other team then picked sand king and we lost, unsurprisingly (our lanes in general were pretty bad, but it was a pickup team and we still won the 1st game). In the future, if I find myself in this situation again, is there a list of heroes that can be banned to guarantee you'll be able to play a game with an illusion carry? Or are there just too many counter in the game for those right now to play one as anything other than a very last pick. [link] [comments]  |

| Looking for free coaching/replay analysis/help in general (stuck at 3.3k wall) Posted: 25 Jun 2017 05:48 AM PDT Honestly I'm not sure where I'm at with this game anymore. The constant flame, bickering and lack of teamwork is driving me insane. So my focus is on my own play and trying to consistently bring it up a level to get better. I cannot get past 3.3k however, no matter how hard I try with my best heroes. I have narrowed down my hero pool and I'm trying to play super tryhard with positive attitude, supporting myself if needed and focusing on my own game. Sometimes it's incredibly hard though and I feel like I get tilted super easily when people start arguing in game, even when I mute them I still get tilted from little things like people not coordinating for a smoke gank. Here is my profile https://www.opendota.com/players/40229947 A lot of Invoker games, Timbersaw and Storm are in unranked/with party so excuse the really poor winrates. I dont understand Timber/Storm very well, and I'm trying to practice Invoker.
