| Episode 6 should include Season 3 LW achievements Posted: 25 Jun 2017 11:10 AM PDT Hey all, as episode 6 is coming to an end, we'll also be seeing the end of Season 3 as a whole. While this is exciting, as it means the expansion is on its way, it also means the wait will be more excruciating than ever! This is why I'd like ArenaNet to give us an additional achievement tab in the Story tab, called "Season 3". Achievements will include the following:
I can't think of any other at the moment, but I'm sure there are more possible achievements. Every achievement gets a reward suitable for the time invested, such as pieces of ascended gear, and maybe legendary crafting materials. Let's hope this gets noticed! [link] [comments]  | ||

Am I missing this on the patch notes or was this unintentional? example: a flax node would sometimes, however rarely, allow for up to four(4) gathering swings. Now, it's always just one(1). I can't find my old account which I had a thief on and I made another thief. I remember grinding the Citadel of Flame for Berserker's gear but I heard that you're supposed to use condition damage now so are we still supposed to farm CoF or am I suppose to do a different dungeon for condition 80 gear? thanks [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 24 Jun 2017 09:04 PM PDT The amount of people I have witnessed leaving matching in ranked play is insane. The game gets off to a bad start or the comp isnt as "viable" as the opposing team, so they just leave. It really screws over the rest of the team because there is almost 0% chance of recovery after that. Might I suggest banning people from the current season after 'X' amount of leaves? There's a way to report people for match manipulation and inactivity, but lets be honest, it doesnt do anything! [link] [comments]  | ||

I did get one instance of... hope. I did a reboot and got it to start up once. It crashed after character select though. Couldn't access memory location 00000000`00000000. Anyone have any ideas? | What's coming after final episode - my hopes Posted: 25 Jun 2017 01:32 AM PDT We are now close to 2-month pause between last Living World episode which means, most likely, episode 6 launches in July. Season 2 finished with huge cliffhanger of Pact being destroyed by Mordremoth and a reveal of Heart of Thorns logo soon followed by PAX conference. Now, what do I expect from the finale of season 3? Mostly... the same I think. 1) A big ass cliffhanger - the way current lore is being developed I don't think anything will be solved in last episodes. The scope is too big, the stakes are high. This is why episode 6 will be imo a big ass cliffhanger leading straight into expansion lore. 2) Expansion reveal - this is something I think Anet may do different. Trailer? Yes. Expansion logo? Yes. However after controversial HoT hype management and the outcome of it I am under the impression they may not want to make huge conference, with MO on scene talking about what's coming. They moved from over the top marketing to almost no marketing after HoT and they want to get new players only by veterans bringing them to the game. We will see if it was good decision after some numbers are published. If ever. 3) Pre-orders and beta weekends - that's what I'm waiting for a lot! I loved HoT betas, I loved being hyped in Verdant Brink and wondering what's waiting for me behind the portal to Auric Basin and other maps. The outcome was... meh at the beginning. However the way they dealt with episode 3 gave me hope that new expansion will blow my mind. This is why I want to get hyped again. I want these beta weekends! 4) Profession & other features streams - these were second best to betas before HoT launched. Revealing every new spec every week, getting hyped for possible new builds, theorycrafting etc. I want to see this again so I hope with new "stay shut" policy MO will organise these streams again. Please? Ooookay, that's what I'm hoping for a time between season finale and expansion release. How about you people? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 25 Jun 2017 01:39 AM PDT Let's say you have an item booster that gives you 33% chance for an extra gathering strike. Let's say you go to the VB flax farm and start foraging. If you're not paying attention, there's a chance that something like this might happen. If you didn't catch what was going on there: after you hit each node once, all nodes will disappear, even if they had an extra gathering strike available. In this video I missed out on 5 perfectly good nodes. Of course, here I did it on purpose, but I can't count the number of times I was on autopilot while gathering and just skipped an extra gathering strike because of this bug. What's the story with this bug? It's been around for ages. Is Anet even aware of this? I'd be amazed if they weren't. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Consideration: Buying Expansion Posted: 25 Jun 2017 02:56 PM PDT Hi, as the titles states, I am considering this, are there any reasons to hold out until the new expansion drops? Also, in terms of price, would it dip below 30 dollars, or is this price already a discounted price? I've also considered the possibility of the inclusion of the current expansion when the next expansion is released, so it really depends on how far away this next expansion is. I am currently just gradually replacing old gear with high tier gear and experimenting with more variants, doing dailies and going for world exploration. Let's say I carry on without the expansion, would I be missing out on a lot? How much content are we talking about? Would I be lagging behind with any sort of big disadvantage by not doing masteries and raids? [link] [comments]  |
