| [Data-Mining] Render and textures of an interesting object Posted: 21 Jun 2017 07:45 AM PDT Hello everybody, POSSIBLE EXPANSION SPOILER[you have been warned] With the release of the new heart of the mists map they've added a VIP section to it that can only be accessed by a tiny amount of people (21 to 29 players per region, per month). In it you can find a small board game, tucked away in a corner on a table. This board game uses a combination of playing cards and different kind of dice and has room for up to four players. The cards and glyphs all have a distinct Elonian feel to it and one of the meshes is called AmnoonOasisLattice1:Dice1. With the amount of textures available it is possible we'll be getting a new mini game in the future. Now I do not understand why they chose to put an item that in my opinion could've sparked quite some hype in a location that only 0.0000001% of the population will ever be able to visit and definitely would've ignored. | Posted: 21 Jun 2017 03:10 PM PDT This week on Tuesday, our guild group defeated the Escort event in Stronghold of the Faithful (We received loot for this encounter), then at somewhere between 19:30-20:00 (GMT+1) we re-logged for the patch update. We then defeated (progression as a guild group) Keep Construct, only to find that none of us received personal loot/boss chest or the collection item. Our instance progressed onto the twisted castle regardless, which we attempted and failed. After attempting twisted castle we re-zoned into Stronghold of the Faithful again, but our raid instance had Keep Construct alive, as if we'd never killed it. We had the same group member rezoning so it wasn't anybody else's instance lock. Today with the same group except for one person we again killed Keep Construct, and again nobody received loot and nobody received the Spirit Strings/Stone Soul. After rezoning back in, we're once again back at Keep Construct with our instance not recognising his defeat. Both times we recorded our group killing Keep Construct, once we upload the videos we will edit them on to this post. Could we please get an official response from somebody at ArenaNet on what is happening to fix this bug, and what we can expect regarding missing rewards? [link] [comments] | ||

I realise i could tell them what to search for but that's tedious too :( EDIT: Many believe what I am asking is about being able to show off your completed achievements which is not my intention. I just want to link it so someone can open it and read what it is. Examples where it would be helpful are: 1. "Hey where did you get that mini tiger spirit?" 2. "How did you get that title?" 2. | Posted: 21 Jun 2017 12:15 PM PDT So I want to know from this community the reason why you as a player actually do PvP? A bit of a story from a match I played today... So a warrior got stuck in a wall in PvP, a glitch that has been happening in PvP from knock backs. So I saw the warrior stuck, and I started killing them so they could respawn. The entire time, the ranger on my team was trashing on me for killing the stuck warrior. After we lost the match, they asked me if I was proud of myself for getting the warrior unstuck. As if it was the reason that we lost. We were really far behind even when it was 5v4 for some time. I said that I wouldn't be proud of a win if it was 5v4. This made me realize that it seems like people don't PvP for the challenge, or because they enjoy it. Me personally I don't enjoy it that much, but I like the challenge of trying to climb regardless. Even if I don't climb at all. I wouldn't want to be in a higher rank if I didn't earn it. I may be doing PvP for the reward of a cool backpiece skin. However I don't want to get it by cheesy wins. I want the playing field to be fair. I want to have earned it. While the backpiece isn't all that hard to get, and more just a time based thing, for me getting all those wins are the hard part. I just wish that the people playing PvP were doing it for a valid reason. It's just a game, and in PvP losing is a big part of that. If you could win all the time, the gamemode would get boring imo. While you might get good, and fast rewards, that's not what I think PvP should be about. So is PvP a gamemode about getting rewards in, items, and gold, or is it about becoming a better player, learning your class, and climbing the ranks? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 21 Jun 2017 09:25 AM PDT The reason this seems rng is as you need to be fighting the boss for your first time in the instance. This means that all 1 shots are giving loot with no issues and if a boss fails then someone swaps character making it that particular characters first try of the boss in that instance then they will get loot. This is why there is the discrepancy of people having no issues vs people struggling for a while for no loot. This means if you fail and want loot, you reset instance. What a fucking random thing to break. edit: also any further info is good, like a xera that had a wipe last night gave loot to people in guild but it wiped at platforms, so before boss spawned so I think it still fits with what I said. edit 2 : seems rng is more after first pull - but from almost everyone i have spoken 1, 1 shots get loot.
