It's been forever since I played Diablo 2. Probably 10 years ago and before that I hadn't played D2 in years but I remember the Necro was fun af and the pets did 98% of the work for me. Can a pet focused Necro build do GR95+? And any recent footage of a pet build?

If Hammerdin wouldn't lag in 4man, would it be a viable DPS?

I was wondering, on leaderboards the best performing group AOE dps classes also are the best in solo (Wizard Archon, WD arachyr/LoN) Sader is also top of the solo classes and the build deals decent amount of AoE.

What do you think, if there was no lag, could sader replace some of those classes?

Season 11 or 2 debating

Hello all

I have been debating on playing xbox one or pc for the next season. Really it comes down to cheaters.

Xbox one has 2 main cheats i am aware of both revolve around duping and or rerolling gear for best stats

Pc has Hud cheats and bots.

My thought is this gear only goes so far if your all primals but only para 500 vs all ancients at para 1500 the higher para will win. Its going to be easier to compete with gear cheaters vs botters so im leaning more xb1. Whats your thoughts reddit?

I think one new class is plenty for how long we've gone without content

I used to hate on diablo 3 so hard. Just from the auction house alone, I boycotted the shit out of RoS through my friends, and refused to buy it myself. After about a year past the RoS release I faced overwhelming boredom, and eventually got the expansion.

Ever since RoS I've been doing nothing but supporting this game.

Diablo in a nutshell, when compared to other RPGs is:

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY.

Let's consider PoE, of which I have over 1000 hours in by the way, I love it! However, up until ascendancy, the game didn't even really have classes, just different character models who started at different locations on the same talent tree. There was a lot of potential for builds, much more than diablo, but again, most builds are just variants of each other anyway. Another thing about PoE is the feeling of the game-play, it's pretty much the same for each class, any class can use any skill gem, and they use it in pretty much the same way.

In Diablo, you get a lot less content, but the quality is leagues above PoE. The classes themselves all have their own unique abilities, play-styles and item sets. There aren't a lot of items, or build options, but the ones we do have all play their own way and stand out from each other.

It isn't just one class we are getting, it's:

A new character model
New unique abilities and animations to separate it apart from all the other classes, all of which are carefully designed to sound, feel and look amazing
New item sets that have their own play-style, feel, and animation
A new batch of potential builds unique to the necromancer

PoE releases new content all the time. Multiple times a week you get balance changes and new abilities. But keep in mind the majority of skill gems in PoE aren't even used, and many of them are almost identical (e.i. reave, blade flurry, cleave) they all pretty much do the same thing and look the same, they aren't interesting at all. Also PoE is getting "6 new acts" coming up, which has really gotten people riled up, and has made diablo 3's updates look terrible. But if you take a close look at the upcoming huge PoE patch, it really isn't that special, a lot of zones are being re-worked as "new acts" and many of the bosses are reworked as well. It isn't like you are getting the awakening expansion 6 times, not even close.

Diablo 3 may provide little new content, but when it does, at least you know it's original.

I know it seems like it, but I'm not hating on PoE, I love both games. Just trying to say that one class in diablo 3 is a big deal for the level of quality it takes for that class to contend with the other ones, it can't feel like any of the other classes, which alone makes it a lot of work.

Noob D3 question: Can I give stuff to another player?

Can I join a game with another player and drop weapons/armor/gems for them to pick up?

Backstory: I only play solo. My Dad, who is in his 70's, is a big Diablo fan and also only plays solo. He just wanders around killing stuff and completing quests but has never bothered to explore a lot of what the game offers. He's never done Adventure mode, never played a difficulty as high as T1, never visited the Mystic, etc. I'd like to farm a set for him and then give it to him. Something easy to play like the WotW set for a Barb or Inna's set for the Monk. I think he'd have a lot of fun with that and it would open the game up for him.

Monk Inna EP - Not sure how to do GR 70 and higher

As should be clear from the title, the ep version.

I was able to complete a GR 60, but 65 for example seems impossible right now. Sure, there are some very, very obvious things I have to do, get my legendary gems to 25+, get a unity ring for my follower and me (with an item which makes the follower invincible), but besides that, I don't really know what to do next...

For example I don't know which of my items is 'the worst', or how I could find out which one's the worst. Hence I am unsure which items should be rerolled first. And another thing is that I really can't imagine, that those things really could make such a big difference that I should be able to run 85+ GR with that build. It's +25 levels from my current best GR. Am I missing something obvious that makes such a big difference what I haven't covered yet?
