Was goofing around with alexa this morning and asked her who the best Overwatch character is, and she replied:

I like Zenyatta, a peace-loving robot. He can heal allies with his orbs of harmony, but I'm still working on that one.

I thought it was a neat little interaction.

Everybody's been there: It's setup time and twiddling your thumbs until the timer reaches 0. The only thing to do is run around like somebody gone postal and destroy as much crap as possible to please your inner beast.
But who's the most effective and especially who's the most fun in this? Well, look no further! This agonizing question is answered in this handy Environment Wrecker Tier List!

The Tier List

S-Tier: Winston

1-Tier: Pharah, Bastion, Orisa, Junkrat

2-Tier: Soldier: 76, Reinhardt, Zarya

3-Tier: Reaper, Torbjörn, D.Va, Genji

4-Tier: McCree, Sombra, Tracer, Hanzo, Widowmaker, Roadhog, Ana, Lúcio

Might as well be Pacificist-Tier Mercy, Zenyatta, Mei, Symmetra

Explanations

Winston

Winston is an absolute blast to go apeshit with. Nothing beats him in Hanamura's attacker spawn. Jump around, fry everything while continously inquiring about peanut butter. Absolute Top Tier.

Pharah

Play nice? LOL Nothing's gonna be played after Pharah's done with the Arcade machines.

Bastion

RATATATATATTATAAAATATATAT. Show that Blackboard on Gibraltar who's boss. LET IT SPIIIIIIIIIIN WEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Minus points for having to be stationary to unleash his full wrecking ability, otherwise definitely S-Tier.

Junkrat

His name's the game. Well without the rat part. But he's superb for junking about everything. Sadly his nades don't explode on contact, which keeps from being higher up.

Orisa

Basically like Bastion in non-stationary, but with a less satisfying RATATAT. Also you're a horsie.

Soldier: 76

Nice mix between Ratatat and explodies with an ability to get to your next destruction destination quicker. As Soldier: 76 in general: Pretty much average.

Reinhardt

I know, I know, I know this might be a shocker, but wrecking shit with Reinhardt just doesn't feel that fun. His hammer just doesn't have the appropriate punch. It feels more like swinging one of those inflatable hammer you annoy people at concerts and festivals with. It's more that the arcade machines and railings give in out of pity than actually you smashing it.

Zarya

PEW! PEW! PEWPEWPEWPEW! While lazers don't have the same punch as bullets or explosions, it's still pretty fun. Plus you have to choice between Plomp-Pew and long Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeews.

Reaper

GET YOUR REVENGE. ON THOSE BOOKS! BWRAP! BWRAP! BWRAP! BWRAP! Reaper works. He would score higher if his gun pollution would last longer, but sadly you can only manage around 6 guns on the floor before they disappear. Otherwise I would see great potential in playing the Reaper Bunny that hides instead of easter eggs easter shotguns.

Torbjörn

While Torb has many wrecking tools to his disposal (except for his environment pacifistic turret), his wrecking just doesn't feel very fulfilling. 'ardvoork doesn't pee off in this case!

D.Va

D.Va's peashooter ist just underwhelming. It's just a constant boring Brakka, Brakka, Brakka. The only thing saving her from Tier 4 is that you can play a fun juggling game with the Trophy in the Attacker Spawn of Volskaya.

Genji

While Genji has many dashy and flashy moves, the books remain unimpressed by his mada-mada.

McCree

Plop, Plop, Plop. HOOO THERE. PLOPPLOPLOPPLOPPLOPPLOPPLOP. Nah, just nah.

Sombra

While her Uzi shows much potential, it doesn't go beyond a wimpy baby Bastion.

Tracer

While great in mobility on defense to reach all wreckable objects in due time, her cavalry feels like it consists of My Little Ponies.

Hanzo

Hanzo definitely doesn't reclaim his honor by being a good homewrecker. Give him a pass.

Widowmaker

Cherchez la topwrecker, because it's definitely not Widow. It's kinda fun though to attach her Poot-Mine to all kinds of different things.

Roadhog

Roadhog, more like Roadslog. HAHAHAHAHA. (nah okay that wasn't really funny.) The enviromnent remains unimpressed by the size of this hooker.

Ana

Yeah, Granny's not particularly good at wrecking things, who knew? Go back to your rocking chair and your blanket.

Lúcio

For someone so energetic and so full of sound you'd think he would be more adapt at crashing parties. He ain't.

Mercy

Books don't care about surprising amount of damage. Pass.

Zenyatta

Do you seriously expect somebody that keeps ragging on about tranquility to be a good wrecker?

Mei

If her ice trail would at least last long enough so you could graffiti the walls with naughty things, but nope. Merely enough to play a poor woman's water bender.

Symmetra

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

If History teaches us anything, its that we are still likely to get the event today!

So when I saw the wording of this Tweet, I thought it was interesting the way they phrased how they would announce the event. "Yes, as we have with our previous events."

So I looked into what have been their pattern of announcement in the past. Take a look below:

Olympic Event

Halloween Event

Winter Wonderland Event

Year of the Rooster

Uprising Event

So for all events besides two, the event started the day it was announced. That is a pretty good indication that we may see a event launch today "as we have with our previous events."

What do you all think?

New map speculation!

I know a lot of people have already thought about this, but i believe the next map will be the Horizon Lunar Colony or that we will get some kind of event/hints leading up to it in the upcoming patch. The reasons for that is,
Lijiang Tower missing on PTR /u/ethanciavo talks a lot about it in this post! Lijang Tower missing from the PTR could mean that something has happened there. ( maybe an upcoming event or animated short? ) Since Lijang Tower is the office of Lucheng Interstellar, the company that constructed Horizon Lunar Colony. This could mean that Blizzard disabled the map on the PTR so we wouldn't find the hints/spoilers early.
Datamined Space and Gorilla sounds /u/OverwatchSarah put together this post where you can listen to all of them, those were datamined 10 months ago though.

Michael Chu's recent AMA Where he talks about character interactions, and that new ones are coming soon. And also that there are some more that are on the horizon. source This could of course just mean that some are further out than others, but Blizzard likes to tease us with small hints like this so you never know.. also this Thanks to /u/PussUnk for the imgur links.
Jeff Kaplan talking about maps source Horizon could be one of the non-standard maps or one of the experiments that won't go into QP/Comp.

The map would probably be a Pve map involving waves of Gorillas. Since Blizzard has had a lot of good feedback from Junkenstein's Revenge and Uprising, and they also love making those modes. Hopefully that would mean we get a permanent Arcade Pve mode!

I carved Hanzo into a piece of cherry by hand

This carving was done all by hand, and was a lot of fun! Overall I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. The wood is cherry, finished with a couple quick coats of boiled linseed oil to bring out the color and grain. This is going to look great hanging on my wall.

Here's the image I used as a template if anyone else wants to give this a go.
