| Idea for a game - horror game with Creative Assembly Posted: 01 May 2017 06:40 PM PDT 343 and Creative Assembly did an awesome job with working on Halo Wars 2 together. A few years ago, CA produced Alien: Isolation. The game was generally very well received. I would love a horror game in the Halo Universe. A narrative similar to Halo: Evolutions - Mona Lisa. Either a team is sent to investigate or you wake from cryo on a UNSC ship or Forerunner facility. Soon, you discover the Flood, and it's a fight for survival. You're not a Spartan armed to the teeth, just a scientist or average soldier. Even a single infection form would be a nightmare for you, and you need to try your best to fight it off. Don't know if I would have it be too much like Mona Lisa, and that ONI is trying to weaponize the Flood in order to beat the Covenant. Would be very different Halo game, and make it stand out. The first, I know a lot of people experience. Before this week, I had only experienced the second one once. However, its happened five times recently, including two games in a row just now. Its kinda novel but not ideal, since people who join the game later seem to get full REQs - a pistol versus a Banshee is decidedly not fun. So - is this happening with increased frequency to anyone else or am I just unlucky? Is it fixable without quitting the game? [link] [comments]  | ||

| After 300 hours, I only just realise why I dislike Halo 5 MP maps Posted: 01 May 2017 08:22 PM PDT This may have been posted previously but I haven't seen anything about it but I've always had a problem with the H5 mp maps, especially all the forge ones, they just don't have that authenticity feel like the old dev made maps from Bungie. After playing a forge remake of Valhalla I realise that the whole map feels like a simulation.. I get that it might be lore or whatever but I really hate feeling like the world around me is fake. The Bungie maps are so amazing because they feel REAL, real snow, real rocks, real water! All the textures on forge created maps just feel off and cartoony, it's just not right. I just really dislike all the maps on H5 except for Apex 7 and I think this is why. [link] [comments]  | ||
