3ft Tall Securitron/Yes Man replica made by my grandfather Posted: 30 Apr 2017 10:50 AM PDT My grandfather is a former Disney 'Imagineer' who loves creating projects. I told him last year that my favorite game was Fallout New Vegas, and showed him some pictures of a Securitron. [link] [comments]
[Spoilers]Fallout 4 would of greatly benefited from gang politics and feuds. Posted: 30 Apr 2017 05:49 AM PDT Fallout 4 is set in Massachusetts a city with a history of both Irish and Italian migrants, both of these nationalities formed gangs and mobs during the early 20th century(and admittedly the italians have kept it going until today at quite a large number, whilst the irish have largely quit it.) Boston had many of these , such as the Patriarca crime family(Italian mafia family.) and the Irish mob, of course there was some gangs which were mixed like the Winter Hill gang which has both irish and italian roots and members. I think whilst they touched on this very briefly with skinny Malone and the triggermen inside Goodneighbhour , they never amount to anything more than fedora mongering shooting targets. Imagine this, just two gangs. Which I will apply generic names to. 1. The Shamrock Mob 2. The Medici Squad and. The Shamrock mob is based in Good Neighbhor, feuding with the italian medici squad for control of the cities and chem input and output, the player can choose either faction and help them , they both have a questline, you can either make either of them win , kill them both and start your own gang or create peace between them. These missions could vary from assasination, to ambushes on chem laboratories and caravans , to guarding chem deals from afar with a sniper rifle, to smuggling chems in to diamond city. I feel I'm only skimming the surface of possibilties here, does anyone else agree or have anything to contribute? [link] [comments]
Fallout 4 surprises me every time; playing Survival Posted: 30 Apr 2017 06:36 AM PDT Finished the game early this year and now I started playing survival. It's phenomenal. It's incredibly hard, for me even more because I'm used to play on Normal. 3+ hours played and this time I'm gonna need to work with settlements, something I didn't care on my days of normal playing. I'm lost, and that's just what survival needs to feel like. I'm sick, thirsty, poor and hungry. And I'm fighting to survive. Completed the Travis quest recently at Diamond City. I don't even know how I made it to Diamond City at such a low level. Agility helped me I think. [link] [comments]
Just found a surprising bit of dialogue. Posted: 30 Apr 2017 12:10 PM PDT So, I remember back when Fallout 4's "you're from Pre-War" plot was unveiled, people were talking up how much of a fish out of water you'd be. One I loved was your character going to their first vendor, slapping down some dollar bills, and getting laughed at. Played through Fallout 4 countless times since release and was always disappointed there wasn't any dialogue about it in the final game. Your character just accepts bottlecaps. Turns out, if you talk to the Abernathies, specifically the one that tells you to harvest their melons, you have the opportunity to ask them, "Why bottlecaps?" which leads into the whole dollar bill thing. Just thought it was interesting how blind I was, because in all my 10+ or so playthroughs, I've never seen it. [link] [comments]
TIL you can cow-tip in New Vegas. Posted: 30 Apr 2017 02:51 PM PDT Just sneak up on a Brahmin and press the interact button, and your character will push them over. [link] [comments]

What are some good FNV graphics mods. Posted: 30 Apr 2017 02:07 PM PDT I picked up Fo4 a while ago and I loved I just recently picked up NV as I've heard it's one of the best games. Im a pretty big graphics junky so I was wondering what are some good graphic mods and ENB to use to make the game a bit more modern graphics looking. [link] [comments]

Question about Homemade Rifle (FO4) Posted: 30 Apr 2017 09:45 AM PDT So the Homemade Rifle is chambered to 7.62, and as far as I know it is the only weapon that uses the ammo type. Now, I'm not an expert on firearms, but aren't .308 / 7.62 so similar that they can be used interchangeably? What's the point of this distinction? [link] [comments]
| Is Fallout 2 more forgiving than 1? Posted: 30 Apr 2017 01:31 PM PDT I just finished my second run of New Vegas and it was great. I've been wanting to get into cRPGs too, so I figured the originals would be a good place to start. What I did not know was that Fallout (1) was a tedious mess that gave me absolutely no direction or anything of that nature. I mean seriously, I'm ok with no quest markers and figuring things out yourself, but the only instruction I have is "find the water chip" after I finish with the other vault? are you fucking serious? Rant aside, I just want to know if Fallout 2 would be a more guided or forgiving experience. or if anyone knows good cRPGs that are a sort of forgiving introduction to the rest, can you help me out? | Failing to install Fallout 4 on my ps4 Posted: 30 Apr 2017 12:38 PM PDT So I wanted to finally get back to fallout 4 after all these months but I can not reinstall it. Every time it goes to 40% it says the disk cannot be read, so after I put the disk back and start it up its been stuck at either 33 or 9%. I looked for a fix on good and nothing has worked (deleting and starting over, rebuilding database, disconnecting network). When i first bought the game it installed just fine so I dont get whats up. The disk is clean af and I just installed Horizion the other day so I cant be the console. Please let me know if you encountered a fix. Peace. [link] [comments] |
