it would both look way cooler AND damaged scopes would be harder to use because the screen wouldn't be zoomed in around the scope.

I've wondered for a while since Hicks mentioned that Bohemia bought the rights to SGZ what the plans for it would be. If BI thought it was worth buying, it makes sense that they would plan to do more with it than just quarterly events with streamers.

The above tweet seems to hint that perhaps SGZ will eventually be a game mode available to all players. Perhaps with functionality similar to the "Custom Game" feature in PUBG. This is all baseless speculation on my part. Just spit-balling.

It's a good idea. It would be a natural fit for players who enjoy DayZ's mechanics and weapons, and want to get some quick action without disturbing the fragile zucchini farms in the main game.
