Hello Reddit!

My fellow friend, the best in North Carolina, is looking to go to Greninja Saga! His name is Donquavious, and he is the best Greninja I know! He has good notable wins over players such as Seagull Joe, Kai, and Dandy Penguin. He also took Larry Lurr to game 3, last stock last hit! This player is amazing, and 2GG told me that if we can rally support for this man, we could possibly get him into the compendium!

Without further ado, let me layout some key details about Donquavious:

  • Currently ranked #1 in North Carolina, over names such as Dandy Penguin and Kai

  • Plays almost exclusively Greninja

  • Has wins on Seagull Joe, Promaelia, and Dandy Penguin, and he even took Larry Lurr to game 3 at CEO Dreamland!

  • Really fun guy to be around, no boring times with him!

Idea to Increase Traffic and Visibility to Anther's Ladder

I think it would be a cool idea to have a feed of the Top 5 ranked players on the Melee and Smash 4 Ladders @ smashladder.com on this subreddit's sidebar.

It would give people an incentive to want to stay active and try to climb up the wifi/netplay ladders and it would also draw a lot of eyes to those ladders from viewers who maybe were not aware of the site before.

A thriving online community is an integral part of the health of the scene and I think this could be a nice way to help.

Thoughts?

Since highlights reels/top tens etc, are so popular in Smash I wonder what this subs opinion is on this. IMO what m2k is saying is completely fair since it is his content, and he has his right to protect it, especially if it is being monetized.

I also know Leffen and GimR have also had issues with youtubers making highlight reels of their content without permission.
