Seriously.

You're this heremit oracle that recieves a vision of the Megafin prophecy, and sets out to [[Unite the Murlocs]] in order to summon this monster and unleash murpocalipse upon your enemies.

I really hope blizzard considers releasing individual cards like Volcanosaur

Posted: 05 Apr 2017 03:45 AM PDT

It might just be because of expansion hype, but I've been experimenting with Volcanosaur all day and really enjoying it.

I really hope Blizzard sees how much a single card can change the meta, even if it's just for a day, and releases more cards like this.

I made this card as a joke, two years ago.

Hearthstone crashes everytime i exit it since the patch.

Basically title. Has this happened to anyone else? What should i do? The repair option didn't do anything. My OS is Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit. EDIT : Wow ! Frontpage! Okay, I thought I was the only one with this problem. Let's hope Blizzard knows about this and will try to hotfix this Soon™!

This week's Tavern Brawl is: The Masked Ball!

Posted: 05 Apr 2017 09:00 AM PDT

At the SI:7 mansion in Stormwind they have a grand masked ball every year. Everyone is in disguise! When a minion dies, its disguise is revealed, showing the minion to actually be a different random minion that costs (2) less that is ready for another fight!

This is a repeat, create your own Wild deck brawl.

Rewards a Classic pack.

Tips:

  • Only minions played from the hand gain the Deathrattle to summon extra.

  • Shredders are great in this brawl; they spawn two minions!

  • Baron Rivendare does work; it doubles the Deathrattles.

New Jade Shuriken Animation - 48,256 damage

The 100th tavern brawl is going to be - each player plays a different brawl against each other

Posted: 04 Apr 2017 10:30 PM PDT

Out of 9 different brawls (No deckbuilding) , you will get a random one and your opponent gets a different one out of the 9 and you battle each other.

So for example you could get the banana brawl while your opponenet gets the portal brawl.

Pic

The options are:

Idols of Azeroth: Your deck is made up of 30 Raven Idols.

Randomonium: Your deck is made up random cards that switch their costs every turn.

Banana Brawl: Your deck is made up of random cards. Whenever one of your minions dies, you get a banana.

Yogg-Saron Tryouts: Your deck is made up of random minions that each cast a random spell when played.

Party Portals: This player's deck is made up of random portal cards.

Cloneball: Your deck is made up of multiple copies of a few random legendaries.

Valeera's Bag of Burgled Spells: Your deck is made up of 30 random spells that each summon a minion when played.

Too Many Portals: Your deck is made mostly of Unstable Portals, as well as a few extra cards.

ShiftCon: Your deck is made mostly of Shifter Zerus, as well as a few extra cards.

Edit: Wow front page... to answer your questions:

  • nope it is not today, today is the 95th, so in 5 weeks.

  • I believe it is random and you can't pick a deck because it shows a wheel in the picture

  • Yes there are 7 pictures but some of them don't even match like the webspinner - well sometimes hearthstone have inconsistency in pictures vs reality ( see malygos, kodo etc... )

  • The info was data mined from todays client patch and you can see a text line for each brawl type and that the game informs you specifically what deck you are playing and what deck your opponent is playing so this is why I am sure you won't get to pick the brawl type and your opponent will be playing a different drawl deck.

Day of the Volcanosaur

Posted: 04 Apr 2017 07:15 PM PDT

By request of people here, I'm maximizing this into a post.

For today and only today, Volcanosaur is playable in the current meta. Which pretty much means it's the only day he'll be playable at all. So...I suggest we give him all the playtime we can muster.

There is only one rule. Run Volcanosaur. In every deck. For every game you play today. Let's welcome this expac with lava spewing dinosaurs! Because what better way do we have to do it?

EDIT: Front page waddup!

Pressing "Quit" makes the game freeze?

Posted: 05 Apr 2017 03:22 AM PDT

So after the update yesterday, this has been happening to me. Just wondering if I'm the only one. It's taking longer to close sometimes while other times it closes straight away.

Edit: I'm on PC btw so I don't know about Mac.

Something that went unnoticed in this patch

Posted: 05 Apr 2017 05:45 AM PDT

Searching "common" in your collection no longer shows certain Basic cards!

I'm really glad that they made this change, it got really annoying having to wade through a bunch of Basic cards to get to the actual commons.

I made a promotional poster for when Kripp presses the button.

Posted: 04 Apr 2017 06:07 PM PDT

it's as the title says, Kripp isn't really building hype around it, but I'm stoked. Got into HS thanks to Kripp and I honestly thought he'd never push that disenchant button.

So is anyone else finding Volcanosaur a bit better than expected?

Posted: 05 Apr 2017 07:12 AM PDT

I find the adapt twice battlecry usually makes so you can tune it to making it really annoying for your opponents current board state. I think the 2nd adapt amplifies the value of adapt because you not only have double the odds of finding what you really wanted but can pick a 2nd good based on their situation.

They spent a lot of removal up to turn 7, okay plus attack. They are aggro, okay taunt and divine shield.

I feel I might of misjudged the power level of adapt. Yes, on an objective level many of the cards aren't always going to provide more mana value. But being able to counter play an opponent... delicious.

r/WildHearthstone Wild Un'Goro Card Ranking

Posted: 05 Apr 2017 03:45 AM PDT

With Journey to Un'Goro imminent, the r/WildHearthstone team are excited to release our review of the set with an eye to competitive Wild playability. This is brought to you by the same team who make the wild tier list each month. We'll go over our favourite cards from the new set, overall impressions, and make a few guesses on how the meta might shake out. Our team of Wild Experts sat down, independently rated all 105 cards on a scale from 1 to 5, and then averaged the results together.

The rating scale we all started with:

  • 5 - Auto Include
  • 4 - Very Good
  • 3 - Playable
  • 2 - Fringe playable
  • 1 - Unplayable

Full set scores

The five cards we're most excited about:

In our opinion, there are very few "pack fillers" in this expansion compared to previous expansions. This, combined with most of the cards being on a higher power level than past expansions, makes us believe that this expansion will have a significant effect on Wild. It will probably not be as dominant as MSG was, but we believe it will significantly impact the meta. With rotation, a full 30% of the card pool is Wild-exclusive, and we feel there will now be a significant difference between the wild and the standard metas. There will be many wild exclusive decks (which we expect to do broken things), and a greater density of combo decks in the format.

The Team

DannyDonuts (/u/SagasaurusRex )

CraftSteamG (/u/CraftSteamG )

Poach (u/dpsimi )

chaitealatte (/u/ducks_aeterna )

Roboleg (/u/roboleggaming )

Alice(/u/hamiero )

Zed( /u/ZedHS )

We would like to give a big thanks to our team of Wild Experts who put this card ranking together.

Finally, we really enjoyed your feedback from our last Tier List. If you have any questions, comments, or criticism on this card rating, we would love to hear them in our comment section below. Thank you to everyone that helped us along the way.

Spare Parts no longer exist in Arena

Played against an old deck with wild cards, and Mechanical Yeti dropped no Spare Parts although its deathrattle "effect" shows up in the sidebar. Interesting bug/interaction regarding wild cards in standard.
