Just finished the Dead Money expansion for the first time... Posted: 28 Apr 2017 01:51 PM PDT Wow, dudes, wow. It was a Hell of an experience, especially the atmosphere of it. What are your favorite places in Fallout where the environment is perfect? DM definitely hit the nail for me! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Apr 2017 03:46 AM PDT Chems have gotten me out of many sticky situations involving a low-level run in with a gang of super mutants or a little stumble into a surprise deathclaw. In your opinion, which chems are the most and least useful? [link] [comments] |

What is the strangest legendary weapon you found in fallout 4 Posted: 28 Apr 2017 07:34 AM PDT I happened to find a "automatic" laser musket. I did some testing and found out these things. 1: it cannot me modified at a crafting bench. 2: it is automatic, but before you fire it your character does the cranking animation, throwing off the aim. 3: it has a magazine of 20, and reloads with the cranks after about a second. 4: it hardly does any damage without any supporting perks and is very unstable. 5: it continues to do the cranking while firing. Anything strange you guys discovered? not cheated in but actually discovered. [link] [comments] |
Time Travel in Fallout, what would you do? Posted: 28 Apr 2017 05:57 AM PDT You have the power to go back and time and alter the history in the Fallout universe. What effects and side effects would it cause? For me I would go back and kill the Overseer of Vault 13, after the Masters death. That way you get let back into the Vault. It would mean the vault may open a lot soon and the residents all build their own village with their G.E.C.K. [link] [comments] |
I have tens of thousands of caps to burn, what are the best things to buy in Fallout 4? Posted: 28 Apr 2017 09:09 AM PDT I already bought the Overseers Guardian, but that's the only major purchase I've made. What are good traders/merchandise can I buy? [link] [comments] |
How to keep settlers INSIDE the walls during an attack?? Posted: 28 Apr 2017 01:32 AM PDT Does anyone have a good way of keeping my asinine, stupid-ass, dumb freaking settlers from running half a mile outside the walls every time a damn bloatfly attacks? I build these giant walls all around my settlements and the idiots just run outside them every time something attacks. The only solution I found so far is to simply not build a gate so they cannot get out ever. But then my provisioners can't get in. Dumbass settlers [link] [comments] |

Fallout 2, new bug I've never encountered before? Posted: 28 Apr 2017 12:58 PM PDT I've never experienced this and I can't find a reference to anyone else having had this happen to them either. But, twice now while I'm in combat the turn-based is all but forgotten and enemies that were killed will come back to life repeatedly. What's more is that it won't register that I'm using ammo or that the right person is attacking (I'll attack and it says that Cassidy misses). This is so frustrating! I'm all patched up and things have been pretty alright so far, but now this. Has anyone else experienced this? [link] [comments] |
NMCs_Texture_Pack_for_FO3 hardware recommendations? Posted: 28 Apr 2017 02:59 PM PDT Hi. I have a GTX1060 3GB, 8GB of RAM and a i5 6400 Would you recommend me using the HIGH or MEDIUM variant of the mod? (for Fallout 3). I plan on combining it with some other mods like Fellout or Flora Overhaul. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Picked up my controller today. Posted: 28 Apr 2017 08:30 AM PDT Picked up my controller, modded by Game Junkie in Glenside, Pa. I was gonna buy the official fallout edition controller but it was wired and it was just cheaper to have my old lunar white modded. He repaired the sorry in it too! https://imgur.com/gallery/R7u87 [link] [comments] |
[FNV] Controlling spawn points via body dragging? Posted: 28 Apr 2017 07:51 AM PDT Is this a doable thing? I've recently realized creatures where respawn where they die, even if it's halfway across the map from where you found them. Has anyone tried using this to move factions to different locations, or cause fights between them? I'm looking for any info on the limit of bodies one can stuff into a cell w/o them disappearing, and if anyone has ever tried this before. A list of respawning NCR/Legion/Khan/Powder Gangers would be great, along with one for raiders. [link] [comments] |
Can someone recommend some mods for Xbox One? Posted: 28 Apr 2017 11:21 AM PDT I just finished the main story and want to start a play through mods. I still think I'm lacking 12 or so achievements but I'm burnt out on the vanilla game, even though I have all the achievements, and want to just take a break from it and play through with some mods. Especially because I'm so freaking sick of the game being busted as hell. Like how does Bethesda get slack for leaving their games in such shitty states? Anyway now that the minor rant is out of the way please recommend away! Especially the must haves! Also curious if anyone knows of mods that making building easier and that let you destroy trash/shrubs/debris. Shoot any mods that come with the towns like pre-built? I suck at making realistic and lore friendly settlements. And any mods that have the Infiltraitor from The Pitt. Oh, and are there any mods that you change the color of your power armor/armor? Thanks & Cheers. [link] [comments] |
Which S.P.E.C.I.A.L. is most important? Posted: 28 Apr 2017 09:29 AM PDT So what S.P.E.C.I.A.L. so Important in the first place? well it guides your character witch abilities related to your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. but throughout my entire fallout career I've been wandering What S.P.E.C.I.A.L. benefits dwellers the most in combat, dialogue, bartering etc. now whatever makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L. helps you survive the wastes in your own way but we're here to figure out which one helps out dwellers the most. So get comfy, grab a nuka cola and some iguana on a stick and read through to see what is the most important S.P.E.C.I.A.L. So Lets recap the acronym for S.P.E.C.I.A.L.: Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck I'm going to narrow it down to the four I think is most important: Charisma, Luck, Intelligence, and perception. Ok so Charisma is important because it lowers prices for bartering, gets you out of sticky situations that you might not be able to handle and can get you extra caps for said bartering prices. Intelligence is important because it helps you get to areas you cant lock pick by hacking, increases your medical and weapon knowledge, helps you get to locations faster with V.A.N.S. and when fighting against robots, can turn your enemies into your new ally. Perception is important because it helps you more accurate in V.A.T.S., lets you pick lots, rummage around in peoples pockets. Finally Luck is important because it helps you find loot, ammo, may send a mysterious LA noir themed detective to save your ass every now and then, and makes you more accurate in vats. so the top three important is Luck, Charisma, and Intelligence. Why perception isn't on the top three is because Luck helps you with V.A.T.S. as well and well what can go wrong with aimbot? (JK) So top two Is charisma and Luck because Luck effects your chances in a persuasion attempt as well (I've experimented, it does) So In my opinion the most Important S.P.E.C.I.A.L. is Luck. Why Luck is the most Important because Luck effects your V.A.T.S., your persuasion, how much ammo/loot and weaponry and armor you find in the wastes, and even gives you your own LA noir themed guardian angel. What do you think is the most important S.P.E.C.I.A.L.? tell me in the comments. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Apr 2017 12:44 PM PDT So I found it really fun in New Vegas and was wandering if there was any mods for fallout 4 that added it or any other card games. [link] [comments] |

Easiest way to get all missable achievements? (NO SPOILERS) Posted: 28 Apr 2017 09:31 AM PDT FALLOUT 4 Okay, hello, I'm wanting to get all the 8 missable achievements in the game and I have heard that these 8 achievements are made up from 4 choices you make at the end of certain story quests. Without spoilers please, is there any way somebody could tell me at which points I need to create save-files at or what quests I need to avoid at certain points, for example. Does following certain factions cut off achievements you can get with other factions, etc? I'm about 1/3 way through the main quest and have joined the brotherhood, etc. but I still have a way to go but I want to be prepared before I accidentally make a decision that makes me miss a huge chunk of achievements. Thanks. [link] [comments] |

Should you really finish the main quest before delving into the side missions? (FO4) Posted: 28 Apr 2017 11:10 AM PDT I keep hearing this sentiment being repeated alot here. Because of something a developer said. How true is this? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Apr 2017 10:36 AM PDT So based on the types of mutations in the animals we see (gigantism, dual heads, hair loss, etc) what other animals do it think would there be around and how badly mutated or changed would they be? [link] [comments] |
