How to lose Prime matchmaking (bug)

I saw a lot of people complaining about how they lose their prime status, here is the bug and how to reproduce it if you want to try it yourself:

On Tuesdays steam servers go down for maintenance, make sure your game is opened when the servers are still offline then wait until they come back. When they comeback online (you will know because cases and special offers will show on the top bar) you should lose prime and have to sign up again.
