Or do they look at previous results? Liquid can no longer qualify under any circumstance. DAC Final Day Group Stage Permutations Posted: 28 Mar 2017 09:01 AM PDT Group A OG topped their group with 12 points (Four straight series wins) securing themselves the top Upper Bracket seed, leaving one spot left. Wings and Empire are the only teams in Group A that can secure the last remaining spot. LFY,VG.J and Team Faceless cannot qualify for Upper Bracket Seed, regardless of the outcome of their matches. vs The final spot will be determined by the Wings vs Empire matchup. Empire just need to win one game in their two-game series against Wings to qualify for the Upper Bracket. Group B We already knew that Group B would be a very competitive group, however I think it's safe to say that some team placements were quite surprising. Team Liquid are now no longer in the running for an Upper Bracket slot and must fight their way through the lower bracket. Every other team though have a chance at the last two Upper Bracket spots. vs iG only needs to win one game in their two game series against EG to secure their Upper Bracket seed. Whereas if EG lose any games they lose their shot at an Upper Bracket run, while winning both their games will either give them the UB seed or potentially allow for tiebreakers if NP win their matchup 2:0 iG.V vs If iG.V manage triumph over Liquid 2:0, they give themselves a slight change at taking the last UB slot by potentially forcing tiebreakers with Newbee (if they win their matchup 2:0). Liquid can drag iG.V with them into the depths of the lower bracket if they win one game against them. vs NP, coming into Day 3 in second place must win at least one game to give themselves a shot at the last UB seed. Winning one game will give them a potential tiebreaker with iG.V while winning both their games will guarantee their Upper Bracket slot. Newbee needs to win 2:0 (and hope that EG 2:0 iG) to force a tiebreaker with iG.V for the last UB spot. TL:DR Group A Empire vs Wings is the only matchup that matters. If Empire wins one game out of the series they qualify. Group B If iG wins one match, they qualify. Lose two and their hands are in the fate of NP If EG wins 2:0, they potentially force tiebreakers with iG (If NP win 2:0) or they qualify. Anything less and they are out If iG.V wins 2:0, they can potentially force tiebreakers with Newbee if NP lose 0:2 and EG lose 0:2. Anything less and they are out Liquid are just out. Good luck in the Lower Bracket. If Newbee wins 2:0 and EG lose 0:2, they force tiebreakers with iG.V for the last Upper Bracket spot. Anything less and they are out. If NP win 2:0, they qualify.
