Dalaran is a magical floating city in the sky, populated by the most skilled mages in the world. How does The "Great" Akazamzarak even get an audience for cheap parlor tricks?

Posted: 18 Feb 2017 06:56 AM PST

Isn't magic an everyday sight for the people of Dalaran? The mages are everywhere. Teleportation is common. Conjuring food out of thin air is a skill every mage can do. Warfare is fought with ice, fire and arcane magic. Why would the people of Dalaran even be amazed at what the little goblin does?

We can't have Goblin Monks, but there's one in the Monk class hall

Mages need to enable hidden interface options for optimal DPS.

Just saw the Paladin class mount tints and am still wondering...

They really sticking every paladin with a (imo) lackluster looking horse? Even Tauren paladins? Dwarves too? Like where are the rams and kodos? Kinda whack.

Would the discover mechanic be a good mechanic for legendaries?

Posted: 18 Feb 2017 10:07 AM PST

Credit to /u/leva549 for mentioning this idea. For those who do not know, Hearthstone has a mechanic called discover, in which you are given a choice between 3 random cards (or random with restrictions, IE. mage cards only), and you pick one of the 3 to keep. I thought this would be a good way to maintain some degree of randomness in WoW while at the same time making the legendary grind a little less painful. For example you get an UNID mage legendary, and when you ID it you get a choice between 3 random legendaries based on your spec (3 frost, 3 fire, or 3 arcane), and you get to keep one. Any thoughts on this? I'd especially like to hear from players at 3+ legendaries on multiple characters and see what they thought.
