Hey folks,

I'm the owner of the /r/Zelda Discord, and as you may have noticed, we had an issue yesterday where someone was able to hijack the channel, multiple times. Most of the stuff like name changes we were able to revert, but the hijacker also manages to kick over 300 people, essentially everyone with a username starting from A to I.

We believe now that the hijacker was able to gain control due to a bug in the program "Better Discord" that allows another user to take control of your account. Unfortunately, one of our moderators was using this software. We recommend anyone using "Better Discord" uninstalls it immediately and changes the password on their account.

We apologize for this inconvenience and ask that you help get the word out to as many members as possible who may have been kicked from the server.

The first multiplayer Zelda game in history arrived in the year 2002. This was a story meant to serve as the precuel of Ocarina of Time, and the first Zelda tale in the timeline, this place were later given to Skyward Sword. Link and the Princess Zelda featured in this game were childhood friends, as they were later in Skyward Sword (there seems to be a pattern around here). This is also the first game in which Vaati and the Four Sword appear.

In this thread we discuss all the previous Zelda games, one per day until we finally get to explore the world of Breath of the Wild.

Hey guys! My daughter will be 12 in March and she's recently fallen in love with the Zelda universe due to the Smash Bros. games and amiibos. She hasn't really had much of a chance to play the main games on the series though and she really wants to... Especially Wind Waker HD on the Wii U. Unfortunately, I lost my job back in Oct. and I'm still looking for steady work, so I thought would try to trade some of my stuff for some presents.

Aside from Wind Waker, I wanted to get her the Hyrule Historia.

As for a few interesting things I have to trade, I have Dynasty Warriors 8 on PS3, the Fallout 4 Vault Dweller's Survival Guide Hardcover, Maken X for Dreamcast, The Limited Edition of Record of Agarest War Zero for PS3, Persona 4 Golden for Vita. I also have lots of baseball cards and Magic the Gathering cards if anyone is interested.

I'm also good at writing (my profession) and Photoshop if anyone wants to trade for services too!

If anyone could help me make her birthday a good one, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

How I Got My Wolf Link to 20 Hearts

So I had pretty much 100% in Twilight Princess on Hero Mode in preparation for Breath of the Wild and I was ready to take on the Cave of Shadows, but good god, I could barely even finish it, let alone with 20 hearts. So I devised a little cheat plan to help me out (and it worked!), but you're gonna need the Zelda and Sheik amiibos for optimal cushion.

So basically what I did was I set my Wii U time to 11:40 pm. The amiibos refresh at midnight (Wolf Link refreshes every run), so that gave me 20 minutes to use both Sheik and Zelda amiibos, and by the time I had used them both and it was midnight (on my Wii U), I was on floor 25 or something, and my amiibos became fresh and basically unused. I was really pleased that it worked, needless to say.

So if you're having trouble with the Cave of Shadows and you're looking for an easier time, that's my 2 cents (or rupees?)

Last Minute Wild Theories Discussion For BotW (No Spoilers, Game Related But Lore Okay)

What wild theories do you have for what Nintendo might be "hiding" in this game? Mechanics, features, etc that they haven't revealed yet which will be big spoilers?

I would be blown away by a second world map (future, dark world). Frankly that would be very ambitious and they haven't done it for a long time. But, it would be a huge reveal and very unexpected.

Also, some kind of lore connection would be interesting like establishing why there were three pendants for the Master Sword in LttP.

A sweet mechanic that they could hide would be a flying mount like a Skyloft that you can tame later in the game.

But even something like a return of the Yeti our Twili would be cool.

What do you guys want or think could be a surprise element of the new game that we haven't had any information about but would be a fun surprise?
