GTA V, now nearly a four year old title, has sold 5 million copies in the past 4 months. Posted: 07 Feb 2017 08:43 PM PST According to Take Two's recent financial report, GTA V has sold over 75 million copies to date. (source: http://www.psu.com/news/32151/grand-theft-auto-5-sales-reach-75-million) November of last year they had just reached the 70 million mark. (source: http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2016/11/02/gta-v-has-sold-70-million-copies/) This means in the past four months, the game has sold 5 million copies. Given that this game is nearly four years old now, I'd say that's quite the achievement. Can you think of any other game that has sold that well so long after initial release? Maybe World of Warcraft, but besides that I can't think of any others. I foresee Red Dead Redemption 2 not only being a humongous game, but also having a massive online portion like GTA: Online right out of the gate. Also PC as a target platform seems like a no-brainer at this point, with how often the game is consistently still on the top 10 list for sales on Steam. I just hope they don't keep it a console exclusive for too long before releasing the best (PC) version, this time. GG Rockstar. [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Feb 2017 03:04 PM PST Email your GTAOnline ideas to Rockstar at GTAOnline@rockstargames.com. Stop letting your talent go to waste, and stop letting yourself be exploited by stupid youtubers. Very few youtubers give credit to people when they comment on something related to GTAOnline. Stop posting your ideas on public forums. Instead, mail your ideas to GTAOnline staff. We like playing the game as much as you, even though we might bitch and moan about it. However, your ideas will always be yours and neither me nor some fucker with a lot of youtube subscribers will ever be able to think of the stuff that you think should be in GTAOnline. I know that GTAOnline doesn't exactly reward us for submitting ideas to improve GTAOnline, but you should feel inherently good for being able to contribute to the advancement of GTAOnline. If GTAOnline advances and improves, you're only helping us out because we get to play with your ideas. And if you think your ideas are especially good, send every bit of information to Rockstar. Even if Rockstar doesn't implement your idea, if you send them your idea, your idea will have a higher chance of being read by Rockstar staff than if you never send it to them. People fill out petitions to get Rockstar's attention, but fuck that shit for right now. Get your ideas together first, make sure your idea is as good as you can get it, and send the feedback to Rockstar. Then, once you receive the generic reply from Rockstar, begin to fill out a petition for your idea. Once your petition gains steam, then send your idea, and the petition to Rockstar games again. Whatever you do, don't post it here, or you risk your idea being stolen by fuckers like DatSaintsNutsack, or other youtubers. Send all your GTAOnline ideas here: [link] [comments]

How do people get other weapons in RPG vs Insurgent? Posted: 07 Feb 2017 10:20 PM PST Whenever I play, the only weapons on the map are RPGs. But somehow, it's happened twice already, if i'm hiding out waiting for people to get out of their insurgents so I can blast them, they always drive far away and come back with a pistol and pistol me easily. Where are they getting the pistol? My understanding is, when you ammo drop, you can only get ammo for weapons you previously used in the LTS game being played, and there's no pistols in the games this has happened in. Posted: 07 Feb 2017 09:36 PM PST So people can just change your account name and email and password without any permission being required by the original account owner? Good stuff. Great system. [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Feb 2017 08:21 AM PST GTA: Online has become very freemode heavy, most of the big new DLC is freemode stuff. I think the next logical step would be Heists. Not big grand heist missions with lots of planning but small Heists with a small crew. It is to my knowledge there are 7 Fleeca bank locations all with interiors (including the one from the first heist). I would love it if we could rob them. I have an idea of how this could play out. It would be a MC expansion rather than part of the CEO stuff. Bikers seem more like bank robbers to me, the CEO stuff seems like higher crime. Now you may be thinking "well I don't want some asshat in a hydra to come fuck with me while I'm doing Heists." or "What is some shit bird camps out at my clubhouse and kills me before I make the drop off." Well I have the solution. I call it the "Safe House Network" SHN for short. The way the SHN would work is simple, you buy into it similar to your vehicle warehouse. But it is one price and there is no location. That's the beauty of it, when you start the heist you roll up at the bank and rob the joint. Then a safe house is chosen from the network at random, you make the drop off and the money is laundered and pops into your account. Now the heists themselves, I imagine obviously it's a maximum four person team with no minimum and you decide the payouts at the beginning. Once you rob the joint you will receive anywhere between $100,000 and $120,000 and you lose money for damage you take on the way to the safe house. One stipulation would be you can only rob a bank once in a 24hr period, but between 6 banks that's pretty good money if you are willing to do it every day. If they implemented this correctly I think it would make the organisations so much better. What are your thoughts? Would you enjoy this sort of DLC? How would you expand it further or what would you change? TL;DR Freemode Heists (Concept) - MC Expansion - Safe House Network to prevent greifing - $100,000 splittable payouts - 6 locations across the map that you can rob once every 24hrs [link] [comments]
Is there a way to fix the really high camera angle on some vehicles? (Obey Omnis, BF Injection) Posted: 07 Feb 2017 12:00 PM PST Ironically, my two favorite cars are the ones that have this problem. http://i.imgur.com/VXKDrQD.jpg Apparently the camera angle isn't this ridiculous on the XBOX 1 (what my friend tells me), is there any way to fix it? I know about the settings where you can choose the high and low camera setting, but that doesn't fix it. I feel like this is 'just how it is' but if there's a way to fix it, that'd be awesome. Is there anyway to store the armoured police truck in GTA online garage? Posted: 07 Feb 2017 02:42 PM PST I'm not sure this is the right place to post this. I've seen two tutorials which seem not to work as they have been patched. I'm wondering does anyone know a method that's worked for them? [link] [comments]
