Note to non NA players: We have separate weekly AU/NZ and EU events that occurred earlier this evening. You may participate in this event if you wish, but for the sake of fairness, NA players will have priority in joining games during this event.

Community Night

It's time for the official CS:GO Reddit Community Night and playtesting!! Community Night + Playtesting is a weekly Tuesday evening event in which we play 5v5 games(10mans not scrims) with other redditors on our own 128-tick servers with competitive settings on classic maps (i.e. Active Group and older competitive maps). The night will last for a few hours, so feel free to drop in whenever you're free!

When Is It?

The NA event begins four hours from this thread being posted. Community Night and Playtesting begin at the time specified below, converted to the major NA timezones for your convenience:

Pacific	Mountain	Central	Eastern
6:30 PM	7:30 PM	8:30 PM	9:30 PM

If you would like weekly alerts for the start of our events, feel free to join the Community Night Steam Group! Announcements are made at the minute the event starts, so you won't miss a thing.

How do I join?

To join, simply connect to our TeamSpeak3 server and hop in the Community Night lobby to get put into a game by an admin. Here are the server details:

Note: When connecting, please include your rank at the beginning of your name like so: "MGE-Jpon9".

How do I participate?

The details are identical to those found above for Community Night -- join the same TeamSpeak server and include your rank at the beginning of your name. Playtesting happens concurrently with Community Night, so just hop in at some point in the night after Community Night begins and we'll get you hooked up with a game!

If you would like to be notified when the playtest starts you can join our Playtesting Steam Group.

After you have played a game or two on the map, please submit your feedback in the previously posted AU/NZ event thread in the form of a comment! Be detailed and constructive :)

So last year in one of the bythenumbers episodes Richard Lewis and Thorin made a bet on which team will be better by the end of the year Faze or VP, whichever got the most top 4 finishes in the year won.

If VP got more, Richard Lewis had to write 360 no-scoping bitches on his face.

If FaZe got more, Thorin had to write Poland No. 1 kurwa on his face.

shox is justifying his picks for G2 on french stream as the captain of the team.

kennyS : He's simply good and fulfill the awper role. He also said that he was quite surprised by him and was a perfect teammate.

apEX : Really hard worker that just never give up and is able to give accurate insights at the same time. Also good entry which is pretty hard to find.

NBK- : Needed a calm and experienced player to hold the team in place, especially with kennyS and apEX that are apparently pretty sentimental. Also great support.

bodyy : Young but promising player. He wanted another pillar to solidify the team. Very calm and can hold hardest positions, also polyvalent and can swap role with NBK- when it's needed.

Why -ScreaM : He's good player, insane when he's in his confort zone but sadly not versatile enough. He think it was a bad idea to pick him for the long term because he can't really swap role and adapt his playstyle if the team need changes.

Why SmithZz to coach : Hard working and experienced guy, but lost a lot of confidence because of the abusive bashing toward him and never managed to crawl his way back to the top because of that. Apparently he's fine with his new coach role because he can release the pressure now and still feel usefull.

Byali on facebook: "After 5h sitting in the plane we get info that we cant fly becouse something wrong is with engine. Airlines founded a night in hotel for us. It was planned that we will fly next day in the morning/afternoon. However, we had to fly at 3AM coming 22.02 to London and spend another night in hotel becouse there are no flights to our cities. Instead of practising for Katowice, we are wasting time becouse Shittish airways have planes from WWII times which are crumbling up. Please make the scoreboard smaller for 4:3 players

It's very frustrating pressing TAB to see the whole minimap and not being able to do it because of the scoreboard, which can be seen here.

I've tweaked my radar to make it bigger and even zoomed out, but still can't see the whole map, so sometimes I have to go for the square map.

I also emailed the same thing to the Dev Team, but wanna know what you guys think.

edit: I was using 16:10, but 4:3 gives me some extra fps + 75hz

edit 2: yes, I can see the full radar if I use cl_radar_always_centered 0, but I think it's just bad to use this command. maybe I'll have to get used to it =(
