On Reaching 1K Subs on Twitch.

Hey all,

Just wanted to give a big thank you to the large influx of subscribers my channel experienced over the past month. Doing this as my full time job definitely required a lot of changes in terms of my daily schedule and prioritizing, but it's been a ton of fun and I've gotten a ton of support in doing so.

I try to make my channel as interactive as possible - answering as many questions as I can, doing activities the entire audience can partake in (Fibbage, Quiplash, CPU Cockfights, etc). I did a lot more reaction videos due to a healing finger and people gave a real good response to it which felt AWESOME.

Obviously that number will change this month - maybe it'll go higher or drop off a bunch (Twitch Prime subs ending, etc) but what's important is that I'm getting more people in the family I started 2.5 years ago. I'm beating my high score by just a little bit each time.

Anyway, my gratitude cannot be measured in words or texts but just know if you did sub to the channel, you've radically helped change my life (even if for the time being) just by dropping an extra Lincoln each month.

I'm hoping that the emotes, weekly giveaways, interaction, Discord sub access, and these words help to show my appreciation to you guys. And to those who choose to donate to the channel - I'm not sure what I did to deserve the amounts you guys have given, but I will never take it for granted - you guys know who you are.

I should be uploading a more rigid schedule graphic soon so expect to see that on the channel and Twitter as well. Melee, Smash 4, reacting to Smash Vids, and the occasional alt titles (Super Mario Maker, Retro games, etc.) are what you can expect.

As you all probably know already there's a dramatic situation surrounding entrance into the U.S for people from a handful of different countries. One of them being Iran.

Mr. R (top 10 player from the PGRV2) is of Iranian decent but grew up in Netherlands since he was 2 years old according to his twitter. Now a lot of people are confused and questioning whether or not he will be able to attend tournaments for a certain amount of time in the U.S. To clear up, Mr. R is not sure himself whether or not he will be able to (Which I guess, kinda contradicts "clearing up" but.. hey!), again according to his twitter. He believes that will be able to keep attending tournaments, all twitter post links below:

Edit 2: Mr. R has released some new comments on the topic, while they are not direct solutions, I thought you guys might find them interesting. In the the first of these tweets Mr. R tell us Japan might be an option if he is banned for the upcoming 90 days. He proceeds to explain that the ban will not stop him from pursuing his path to the top of competetive Smash 4.

It's that time of the month again! Now that we've had time to settle down after Genesis 4, I think it's the perfect time to release this month's tier list voting!

Last time, at the end of December's Results post, I linked a Strawpoll, asking you guys which format you preferred; the 8-Tier format (S, A+, A-, B+, B-, C+, C-, D), the 11-Tier format (S, A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D), or a different format entirely. It was close, but ultimately, the good ol' 11-Tier format won out, with 31 votes to the 8-Tier format's 28. So, from here until who knows when, neutral A, B, and C tiers are back!
