Obsidian's "Project Louisiana" is officially Pillars Of Eternity 2: Deadfire. Posted: 28 Jan 2017 02:22 PM PST http://m.ign.com/articles/2017/01/26/obsidian-announces-pillars-of-eternity-2 (26 of January 2017. This is for those who don't know yet) Back to the first of December of 2015, Fallout New Vegas project director Josh Sawyer posted this photo wich quickly generated rumours about a new Fallout game, and many have pointed it would be Fallout: New Orleans. After one year of debates and rumours, Project Louisiana is officially Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, and not a new Fallout game as many have pointed out in the past. Despite Sawyer himself and tweets from Obsidian's twitter denying that it was a new Fallout, much (including me!) people thought they were just denying it so the surprise would be even bigger, and on this tweet Sawyer wrote "now is the tyme" and many speculated that Sawyer was hinting a new Fallout game, as "tyme" instead of the regular "time" word is used for a New Vegas achievement. Now, we can only wait, all over again for a new game. [link] [comments] |

This creepy ambient sound that can be heard in all fallout games Posted: 28 Jan 2017 01:01 PM PST okay so basically i first noticed it when i played fallout new vegas, it's very noticable, but since i played fallout new vegas, fallout 4, and fallout 2 today i have noticed i can hear this same ambient sound in these fallout games, so i was wondering does anyone know the name of that sound, or atleast noticed the same? (IT STARTS AT 1:20 RIGHT AFTER THE GUY RECORDING EXITS THE DIALOGUE, IT'S VERY FAINT AND HARD TO HEAR) https://youtu.be/Hf0M1E0yxAU?t=1m20s [link] [comments] |

Posted: 28 Jan 2017 07:45 PM PST I recently upgraded my rig with a better monitor and an RX470 4GB edition (starting to wish I could have got 8GB, but I was on a budget), but I'm getting some weird color bugs recently I wouldn't mind, but they keep getting worse Edit: Clown man [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Jan 2017 07:43 PM PST I see tons of stuff here about FO4, it's DLCs,and NV and it's DLCs. But FO3 and it's DLCs don't really get talked about as much. FO3 was the first fallout I played, and living 50 minutes away from D.C. made it seem so cool. It's DLCs were brutal though. I died endlessly in Point Lookout, getting blasted by inbred mutants. Anchorage was awesome, seeing the fighting you read about in loading screens. The Pitt made me feel sick inside. The orange tint, the destruction and misery. And the fact that the brotherhood litteraly had to purge it because it was so bad. Broken Steel was great, because you got to get tons of power armor and weapons, and see liberty prime one more glorious time. Anyways, rant over. I think NV is better, but I still like 3 [link] [comments] |

Does anyone else purposefully only get Rank 1 or 2 of Medic? Posted: 28 Jan 2017 07:35 AM PST Anyone else purposefully go halfway with the Medic perk? Getting back 100% or even 80% health from a single Stimpack always seemed OP to me. But i also find it equally tedious/immersion breaking/lame to spam multiple Stims from having no perk at all. So i always get Rank 1 or Rank 2 and stick with it for the whole game. Is there any other perks you guys purposefully don't max out for personalized reasons, instead of simply "efficiency" reasons? [FO4] P.A.M is telling me to kill brotherhood patrols? Posted: 28 Jan 2017 05:23 PM PST How do I prevent this? Is there a way to avoid it? I don't care that I have to kill them it's that I would rather not make an enemy out of them [link] [comments] |
Any graphic designing fallout fans? Posted: 28 Jan 2017 05:12 PM PST This is a very early and tentative query.... I play a lot if fallout, I also own a Speakeasy style cocktail bar. Fallout celebrates 20 years in September, I am designing a party. I have a band who are learning all the tracks, I am designing an extensive menu including the likes of glowing nuka quantum. I am going to need a fallout fan to design my flyers and my menu, make it lore friendly and generally just smash the bloody brief. Obviously this is a commercial project and comes with payment, anyone game for opening discussions and/or potentially showing off some work to me. My bar has a great reputation, our drinks are award winning and we aim to smash this shit right out of diamond city stadium. Look forward to potentially hearing from some of you. [link] [comments] |
What happens if you lose a settlement where you keep companions? Posted: 28 Jan 2017 03:30 PM PST Hi, so, I've been playing on Survival, and I'm at The Island right now, preventing me from defending any settlement (gave up on that long ago). I've been told I'm about to lose a settlement. What happens to any companions left there? [link] [comments] |
Aesthetically pleasing apparel Posted: 28 Jan 2017 01:53 PM PST What do you wear that looks good? I like the tattered field jacket + wrapped cap + road goggles + bandanna of choice. Or the travelling leather coat + green hood + gas mask [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Jan 2017 04:20 PM PST Fallout 3, New Vegas, and the original version of Skyrim all seem to have this problem. Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE seem to work fine. I upgraded to a GTX 1060 and FX 8350 not too long ago and decided to try playing Fallout 3. Well, that went nowhere because for some reason, I keep getting drops down to the low 50's and high 40's that stay there in random places in the Wasteland; mostly when looking at structures with people in them. The same thing also happens in New Vegas and in Skyrim. Yes, I've already installed the 4GB patch, the script extender, the stutter remover, and removed Windows Live. I used to have an R9 270 and FX 6300 and it could hold a constant 60 everywhere, so it's weird that more powerful hardware performs so much worse. Is there something in the Nvidia control panel I'm missing or something? I've already tried downgrading my drivers and reinstalling the games. Really, the only thing I didn't try is reinstalling Windows 10. My usage for both the CPU and GPU never goes above 30% and the RAM usage stays at 3GB / 8GB. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |

What are some must have ps4 mods? Posted: 28 Jan 2017 09:26 PM PST |
Posted: 28 Jan 2017 09:51 AM PST Not sure if this has been asked here before, but while playing new Vegas on PC I hear a sort of background noise (that being multiple conversations) as if I'm in the strip, but I'm far from there. I was wondering if anyone had a solution for this because it has become very obnoxious. Thanks. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Jan 2017 07:23 PM PST Everyone is saying to build a robot at a raider outpost and assign it a supply line to one of your regular settlements, but when I click on Supply line my only settlements I get are my other raider outposts. I was really hoping I can link workshop inventories so I wouldn't have to split my junk between Vault 88 (main regular settlement) and Country Crossing (main Raider outpost) This is what I am getting when I try to assign my robot as a provisioner: http://i.imgur.com/IvL4l6r.jpg If there is a mod available that would accomplish this, post it here.
