Welcome to our new recurring post to help you find a guild on the subreddit!
If you have a guild, you're allowed to post ONCE. If you're looking for a guild, you can also post. Your post should have - 1) Server (NA or EU), Faction (if applicable), and Type of Guild (Social, PvE, PvP, Hardcore Endgame, Trade, Mixed)
For recuriters, also include 2) Current member numbers 3) Guild recruiting message 4) How to apply

This game is the best MMO ever made and it keeps getting better. Why is it still unpopular though?

There's noone in my friend circle who actually plays this game. Many have tried but did not find any fun in this game. Why was WOW so popular? It's probably still more popular than ESO. But ESO is MILES ahead of WOW. In fact ESO is the only MMO that is fun to me.
So why is it not more popular?
Is the game just not fun for casual gamers maybe?

The ESO App - 1yr on!

So it's been 12 months since we released the app and it was a lot more successful than we thought it would be. Due to this we have continued to grow it from a simple map app showing lorebooks to the nearly complete app it is today. Steam issues, eso issues.

Anyone else using steam having trouble logging in?
Says an unexpected internal error occurred, contact customer service.
So I did. And they returned back with use the right log in. So I replied saying that's not the problem.
I feel like I'm on my own.
So then steam won't connect to the net. Not on my phone, or pc, or through trying to access support via Google.
So I ask, anyone having steam problems?

Cannot log into the game 12/23/2016 10AM Central USA Time.

Was in the game just a minute ago at about 9AM - 9:59AM Central Time. Left game to install an addon. Now I cannot get back. Launcher opens up fine. But for trying login I get "An unexpected internal error has occurred. Please contact customer service at help.elderscrollonline.com." Steam client.
UPDATE: Back door confirmed! Anyone who bought TESO before November can log in using the back door launcher. I have done this myself and it works. Back door here: ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Zenimax Online\Launcher and selecting Bethesda.net_Launcher.exe | OP: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/310088/unable-to-play-steams-version-of-eso-due-to-error#latest

Logging in without steam?

Hey everyone. Steam is currently down and I can't login to my account except for in offline mode. Many people, including me, bought ESO off Steam and can't login to ESO because of being unable to login to their Steam account.
Is there any way to log directly into ESO without using Steam?

Funny/ Weird things heard in group chat - share yours

I was recently completing a normal Sanctum run when we called a bathroom/ cigarette break. At that point I was told that the guys I was with (I am not in their guild) have a guildie who wears adult diapers when playing ESO- so she doesn't have to go on bathroom breaks. WTF! She apparently chose not to keep that to herself..... she must be a real lady... can you guys top that?

STAMSORC PvP Question

I'm currently rocking 2h/bow Stamsorc in PvP, I'm only level 41 and my Stamina Recovery is so low? I'm using 5 pieces of heavy armor and 2 of medium. Any ideas? Could I change it all to medium? Would it be good?

I have a habit of role playing my characters, is there room for people who don't min/max their characters?

For those who don't know min/maxing is where you try to streamline everything in your characters "build" to be as perfect as possible.
I am just wondering if there is room for characters who do not specialise so perfectly and grow their characters organically (skill wise).
I realise getting in dungeon queues may be hard for me, any advice.

Pretty far into the game but still haven't decided. Been using medium so far which probably isn't a good idea. I assume light armour is best for healing but because of how important the healer is in a fight wondering if I should also use some heavy armour. Decided to ask on Reddit for opinions

So I bought the game and only played the closed beta, on my account page it says I still have 30 days of remaining ESO plus time.
Will that activate as soon as I login and start playing? Or do I need to manually activate it?
