Cloud 9 The International 2014 Day 2

All the teams have already played at least 4 games, and western teams have ended up occupying four of the top 6slots. Holding the pole position alone is Cloud 9, Cloud 9 finished the day with a 4 - 1. Interestingly, their only defeat came in the hands of Mouz-only won one out of 4 games yesterday.

The International 2014 Playoffs Day 2

The International 2014 The second day of play was one of the big upsets, with in particular outside of EG standing out as performing above expectations. Not only is Cloud 9 on top of the standings, but both Wildcard winner Liquid and Na`Vi.US are sitnting 3-1 records after having taken out some big name opponents, with Liquid in particular netting the hides of EG, NewBee and DK and only falling to Na'Vi. US in turn.

Meanwhile Na'Vi. US only dropped their game to Cloud9, while in turn defeat Fnatic who are another big story of the first day, dealing defeats to Na'Vi, NewBee and DK.

On the opposite side of the field we have the teams under performing on the first day, with Alliance and DK heading up that pack in particular. Alliance only win was against Arrow, while DK took games off of LGD and Alliance only. DK have had some health concerns with DK.LaNm suffering from a migraine, which caused their second game of the day to be postponed until he was fully in shape again, but it did not seem to help as the team just seems out of sorts, in particular as they have been playing DK.Mushi on the play-making heroes which he's struggled on during much of the year.

Other teamss finding themselve in dire straits are Empire and Mouz, who've both thrown away several strong leads in order to end up with 1-3 scores. Beneficiaries of their mercy were both Titan and VG. mouz did however come together for one game to show off what they truly can do when they want to, as they handed front runner Cloud 9 their only loss of the day.
