Naga Siren - Mid Lane or Safe Lane?

 

Anyone have an idea why some Naga Siren's go mid lane, some go safe lane? Is one better than the other?


In pubs game, where the safe lane is a warfare of dual lanes with mid lane constantly going in and no one actually farms, go to mid. Mid is actually an slow peaced lane being empty half of the time cause the other guy is ganking being, in scrub brackets, the truth safe lane. So, if in scrub bracket, go mid if you ever want to get your Radiance .

Depends on the situation. If  Naga Siren's the best mid you've got, and she can reliably get rune control/ not get trashed in lane, then go ahead. If you've a better mid hero, run that. It also varies on how comfortable you are farming as mid instead of in the safe lane.

The way Naga Siren mid works is that you can spam Bottle crow to use Rip Tide to farm lane. This way you gain levels faster and can use your Mirror Image to start farming earlier. This in theory means a faster Radiance.

If you cannot Bottle crow effectively or the enemy mid is strong and can stop you farming i would not suggest midding Naga. Furthermore Naga Siren is not a strong mid hero and generally will not be able to stop the enemy farming or even farm well so bear this in mind before picking her for mid.

The obvious advantage to safelane Naga Siren is that with a tri lane she should be much safer and will not die on the way to relic and therefore may get it faster.
