Thank you all for being so patient with us as we work on fixes for the game. We're excited to announce our first community event: WINTER SIEGE. We also have info about the next PC update coming to you this Friday.

WINTER SIEGE

Welcome to the Call of Duty: WWII Winter Siege Event, where winter has arrived in full force. Your mission begins in Headquarters, where the snow has already begun to fall. Captain Butcher, of the British Special Air Service forces has arrived at the Quartermaster with an inventory of cold weather gear suited for the frigid weeks ahead. Pick up your payroll, grab your winter contracts, gear up, and get ready to head into battle.

December 1944 was marked by bitterly cold weather across Europe. It is also remembered for the last major German offensive of World War II – The Battle of the Bulge. Cold, hungry, and tired, the Allied forces bore the brunt of the attack and incurred their hardest fighting of any operation during the war.

One of the first stops will be Carentan, France. Carentan is in the grip of a snow storm, and under siege by a counterinsurgent German Wehrmacht force. It will require all your training to liberate this important port city and a major crossroad for the Allied operations. Winter Carentan will be free for all players starting on Friday throughout the Winter Siege event. With Winter Mosh Pit and Gun Game modes coming, new winter weapons, gear, emblems, 2XP events, and more surprises, Winter Siege is packed with plenty of excitement throughout the month of December. PC UPDATE

We're finalizing an update that will go live for the Call of Duty: WWII PC version on Friday, December 8 at 10AM PST. This update addresses some of the top observed community feedback on Steam and Reddit, and will activate PC Ranked Play – Season 1: The Placement Season. In addition, we're activating the enhanced Emblem Editor feature and adding various fixes to improve Discord support. Be on the lookout for this update on Friday via our Steam forum with a full list of Game Updates.
