Would anyone else have preferred a boat instead of a Jeep? 7 Days To Die

Would anyone else have preferred a boat instead of a Jeep?

I definitely want more land vehicles but seeing as the Jeep only seats one (as of right now) it's not that much better than the minibike. The gyrocopter also isn't being added so travel over large bodies of water is THE WORST.

Michonne has given me the motivation to make a lakeside base built on a dock with the water covering my back. West Navgazane seems ideal.

Chill out, my dudes

Posted: 05 Sep 2018 07:28 AM PDT

I get the people, who are in school, or uni, and wanted to push some more hours into this awesome game before the end of the break. But still - chill. Everyone else (looking at you working people)

I know it looks bad, but the pimps have demonstrated multiple times already that they are devs that care. The game is growing, and becoming pretty awesome. I'm sure this patch will be nice, and we can expect some real endgame soon. The engine upgrade is probably going to help performance, and will eventually make the game look somewhat prettier.

Calm down everyone. They need another month? Give it to them. I don't know about you, but I've bought this game for like 15 euros, and have already had a bunch of hours in it. It paid for itself, I had a lot of fun, everything else is a plus. And they are willing to give, but they need time.

Pushing and hating does not really help. They might have made some mistakes communicating, and planning but still - they want to deliver. So give them time. There are other games to play, or maybe try a new run with some kind of an added challenge, or I don't know.

Just for the love of all that is holy - chill.

Alpha 17 - We need to help

Posted: 05 Sep 2018 06:38 PM PDT

Hello gents

So we all love 7 days, that's a given. Remember when we first entered the world of hurt either as a lone wolf or with a group of unsuspecting survivors? Creating that grand base to survive that first horde night and realized it wasn't that grand. But it was still one hell of a time. The scavenging though, the scavenging was the best part. Especially when one in our group becomes surrounded and trapped. We stormed through the wasteland, freezing snow, rain and nothing could stop our rescue mission. Until we seen there were 50 zombies and said "this is a you problem" .

And now we are here. Waiting for everything that was promised to us. I know there are many people unhappy about the progress being made, which is completely understandable. I don't know if the developer went into this project learning as he goes but it happened and I would shake this mans hand if I could. He probably didn't expect the game to be as popular as it has become and so the expectations came from the fans. The things this man has had to go through with developing, hiring help, dealing with slacking, has been extremely stressful most likely and I do feel bad for this guy. Honestly. He is trying, you have give him that.

That being said, I think the direction of the progress is scattered. So many things to do with only so many hours in the day.

So that brings me to the point of this thread. With all the players, modders and those with the skills to create amazing things, why don't we put that to actual use? Think about it, with 30,000 people alone subscribed to this sub, there has to be at least 40 people with the necessary skills. Even if it is someone who says "hey, I love making fluid animations" or " ya I know how to make a damn good combat systems" or even a simple as " that gun looks a bit shabby, lemme see that bad boy and I will make it stellar! ". It can be a simple as someone just redesigning the hud ( so we have food and water displayed..) . Hell, even designing some structures would be great. If I had the skills, I would kick down this guys door, grab him by the shoulders and say " lets get this done!" With a clink of two beers.

You all know what needs to be done since we all play this game, adding in, taking out, refining, ect. What could take a short amount of time to accomplish, has taken years to scratch the surface. I doubt the developer would have any objections.

Is this such a terrible idea? Or do you have that same smile that I have?

Any recently created servers, preferably with that "war of the walkers" mod everyone mentions here?

Posted: 05 Sep 2018 06:25 PM PDT

Title. Played 220 hours but never modded. There's 10x more modded servers than unmodded, but the thing is I can't tell what mods they have based on the server list.

I'd also prefer a newer server. Anywhere I can search for a server I'd be interested in? Don't really care if it's pve or pvp. Thanks babes!

Forgetting about this game for the time being

Posted: 05 Sep 2018 02:17 AM PDT

I recently purchased the PC version of the game because I got sick and tired of the PS4 version, anticipating an August release for A17, just to find out that it probably won't be out until January.

Time to forget about this game and find better ways to spend my time.

We are still LOVING it. Kicking of Undead Legacy server for the brave of heart

Friend is having difficulty connecting to server internationally.

Posted: 05 Sep 2018 08:37 AM PDT

I'm currently running a dedicated home Linux server for me and a couple friends to play on in Texas. Another friend of mine in Australia would like to get on and play with us but is having trouble connecting.
They're only able to see the server in the server browser list if one of us is connected and they check the "servers friends are playing on" filter. However, when they try to connect it just ends up timing out and dropping them back to the main menu. We're also unable to get a direct client to client connection working either.
I'm curious if there's something I need to configure on the server or client side to get the connection to work or if we're just SOL.
We don't have any issues with other Steam games aside from a bit of lag. Thanks for any help.
