What the Hack!? Mechanoid hacking is now possible! Posted: 07 Sep 2018 01:23 PM PDT As promised, I have just released the mod called: https://i.redd.it/corv0popjvk11.png With What the Hack!? you can hack mechanoids and raise your own squad of blood machines. This is not all: You can also apply various upgrades to mechanoids like a turret module for mounting turrets on them, a belt module for equipping belts like shield belts, and various other modules. Moreover you can use your hacked mechanoids as pack-mules during world travel, raid factions with them, you can control them directly with a controller belt, or implant an AI persona core in them for indefinite control. Beware though, hacking has its dangers, and other technologically advanced factions also know how to hack, so expect hacked mechanoids in enemy raids. This is how it looks in action: https://i.redd.it/y5kcdxuxjvk11.png Check out the Steam workshop page for more information and of course to subscribe! DRM-free users can find What the Hack!? here on the Ludeon forums This was a followup of this post [link] [comments] |

By far the most brutal thing i ever seen on rimworld Posted: 07 Sep 2018 09:56 PM PDT So this colonist shoaura got pissed because she was given a gun instead of letting her murder her enemies with her bare hands , desecrated a long death colonist and carried it all across the colony, in front of his friends, in front of his wife, just to toss what is left of it (just a spine with some ribs) over the table on my prisioner room. Fucking savage.I can't keep track of my mods anymore, but i guess this was caused by psychology or something. [link] [comments] |
I notice my colonists get downed by melee hits way faster in B19 than they used to. Posted: 07 Sep 2018 07:43 PM PDT Anyone know why this is or what the best way to combat it is? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 07 Sep 2018 09:02 PM PDT for example, if you select smokeleaf leaves, the description box would read "Raw Resources > Plant Matter", or if you select "Medicine", it would read "Manufactured>Medicine". It would help make Stockpile/Dumping zone item restrictions easier to navigate, imo. If there's already a mod out for this, let me know please! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Sep 2018 11:27 PM PDT So Septober is upon the colony, and the corn harvest is literally in the range of 95-99% grown. Good thing, too, because food is scarce - especially since my goody-two-shoes colonists want to heal and feed every downed raider they see, so I've got 50% of my population as resource-sucking prisoners. My food stores are gone, and the only wildlife are muffalo, which I am not prepared to risk maddening. Forged berries will hold us over until the next day, when the harvest will begin. So, obviously, Randy sends me a cold snap, and my corn stops growing. At 99%. At 99%. Then it starts dying. I have to risk the muffalos now, I guessed, so I sent my hunter - but then, lo and behold, a muffalo has self-tamed! Slaughter and feast! But before I have time to do that... Raid. They capture half my colonists, including my best one. Corn is completely dead. [link] [comments] |

Getting colonists to put on armor during raids Posted: 07 Sep 2018 08:14 PM PDT Is there a way to get colonists to put on armor only during raids? It's a bit frustrating to micromanage. [link] [comments] |
