| Posted: 30 Aug 2018 02:53 AM PDT So, I saw this tweet to EG some days ago, someone telling them to have Sumail buy 2 stout shields if he gets brooded. It stayed with me, and I tried it today on Bloodseeker. Poor brood was getting zoned so hard he could only try last hitting with his q. Is this general knowledge? I've seen so many pros lose mid against brood and none of them tried this simple device, apparently. The spiderlings do practically 0 damage to you, all that's left is brood himself. EDIT: 14 minute game, by the way. Ranked, Legend 4. EDIT2: Wow, ok, I think I found the tweet, and you're in for a surprise. OP suggests 3 stout shields, and also adds that it's irrelevant whether on a melee or range hero. This apparently "can get the shit out of brood mid". I'll be honest, I haven't tried it like that yet, but I might just for science, since I play in such a low-skill bracket it shouldn't make that big of a difference. [link] [comments]  |

So if anyone wants to help me, heres what ive comeup with, ill make a list off which heros i think are in the meta, and people just talk in which situations they are good, which pick (first, second....last..) they are usually picked, and which heros they're good/bad with/against. If i forgot anyhero just add to the list and talk about it. PS: u dont need to talk about all the heros, just talk about the ones or the one u are most comfontable with, and other players will talk about the other heros, so everyone helps and learn perhaps. | Trying to decide between playing SEA vs EU Posted: 30 Aug 2018 08:41 AM PDT Where I live, I get about 140 ping to EUW/E, whereas I get 90 ping to SEA. I've been playing EU for the past few years and I am used to the ping. Regardless, I like playing mid and I am actually serious about getting to a high rank. From what I've heard, so many people call 100 ping "unplayable" and here I am sitting at 140. I don't find a big issue with it, but there is a very real chance that I would become a better player and rise in MMR with less ping. I've heard lots of bad things about SEA, and from my experience there games either tend to go well with supports who ward and carries that know how to farm, or the games are absolute shitshows with double mid and techies jungle. I have found very little in-between. Do you guys think I should switch to SEA for the 50 ping difference? [link] [comments]  |
| Is Grimstroke super broken, or am I bad? Posted: 29 Aug 2018 09:35 PM PDT Title says it all. A large nuke and slow, a silence, an aoe stun that boosts your speed, and an ult that is great crowd control. I have no idea how to handle this hero. How do I itemize against him? I play pos 4 or 5 and Grimstroke is hard to deal with. He usually winds up being able to 2v1 in the mid game with no items. Is this truly a support hero? Atleast with carries they take awhile to come online with farm, or a mid hero needs the levels and some snowball senario. Grimstroke seems to be able to be massively effective when from behind in gold and xp. Am I bad? I figure I must be because I dont see any other threads complaining about this shit.
