An interesting thing I noticed about the intro to K. Rool's reveal trailer

I don't know if this has been brought up before, but I just realized something rather interesting regarding the intro sequence of K. Rool's trailer. During the sequence, it shows five different scenes where different Smash Bros. characters are facing down their villains. These include:

  • Mario saving Peach from Bowser.

  • Link protecting a completely different Zelda from Ganondorf.

  • Kirby preparing to square off against Meta Knight.

  • Fox and Falco fighting Wolf.

  • Samus taking aim at Ridley.

Like many, I saw these as just a cool setup for the introduction of the next antagonist into the Smash Bros. roster. However, I recently realized that the sequence also pays homage to the continuing them of the chronology of Smash Bros. within the trailer. Specifically, the scenes are not shown based on when the heroes made it in to Smash, but rather when the villains were.

  • Bowser (#14) was one of the earliest additions to Melee.

  • Ganondorf (#23) was added into Melee later in development, and was built off of Captain Falcon.

  • Meta Knight (#27) was the first newcomer shown off for Brawl.

  • Wof (#44) is the last character chronologically revealed for Brawl, and is regarded as the final secret character in the game.

  • Ridley (#65) was the second character added into Ultimate, and is also considered a current newcomer alongside K. Rool.

While it may be an insignificant detail, it still shows the developer's commitment to the theme of celebrating the legacy of Smash Bros, and helps to establish K. Rool as a significant addition to the Rogue's Gallery of Smash Bros.

He had the worst air speed since launch, and they thought it was a good idea to nerf an attribute that a character has when it’s already the worst of said attribute in the game. Makes no sense. Honestly, Dedede only received nerfs or pointless aesthetics. Smh.

I think I found one of those creepy "AI" controlled YouTube channels but about Smash Bros.

I ran into this channel called 'Dark Luigi'. It has been uploading videos several times an hour for about half a year. It currently has over 3000 videos uploaded and the majority of them have 0 views. The titles are a mishmash of Smash terms and actions, the videos are usually about Smash but are sometimes completely random home videos of people while disturbing music plays with text from what looks like... Smash Bros. fan fiction overlayed. Here are some examples.

Weird shit. If anyone is in the dark about what I meant by "AI", there are channels that have started popping up over the past 5 years or so that are controlled by algorithms that usually produce some very creepy results. This is probably one of them.
