The Muay-Thai emperor still got his iconic high/low Tiger Shots, Tiger knee and Tiger Uppercut to control the neutral game. His V-skill not only powers up the damage and stun of his next upper cut but also improves the juggle opportunity. V-Trigger 1 gives him the Tiger Cannon which is a 5-hits projectile. V-trigger 2 gives Sagat an armored strike attack that can be hit confirmed and guard break his opponent when fully charged. With his supreme fireball game, can Sagat finally be the true zoner in SFV? He can perform a "G charge" move, which can be stacked and buff his special attacks. His V-Skill can absorb single projectile or juggle the opponent, and it can be done in the air! G's V-Trigger 1 allows specials do be canceled to each other, and turn his V-skill into a projectile. G's V-Trigger 2 gives him a upper cut and a armored command grab~! Posted: 08 Aug 2018 07:09 AM PDT Now with Sagat added to the game (and Guile being as strong as ever in season 3), I figured anti-zoning discussions are bound to flare up again. So here's a tip for all you guys, but especially my grappler friends. Neutral jump it. Yeah yeah, this get said a lot. Here's the thing though, when you block or armor a projectile it's immediately removed from the screen. This means your opponent is free to throw another. Whereas if you neutral jump, all that time the fireball takes to travel off-screen behind you is free. Because characters can only have 1 fireball on the screen at a time (exceptions to V-Triggered Guile), they have to wait for that fireball to disappear before throwing another one. You avoid the chip, you (mostly) avoid the anti-air, you avoid the pushback, and you get some free time before they can chuck another one. Neutral jump. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Is the game worth picking up now as a newbie? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 09:26 AM PDT I recently decided to come down to a local FG community. While fighting games are not my forte, I was really interested with the SFV and T7 matches. So after a lot more watching matches and streams at home, I decided to browse Steam for a bit. T7 is hella expensive as well as most of the other mainstream fighters. But SFV is currently on a half-sale and immediately caught my eye. Is the game worth picking up now especially for a newbie? And what's the difference between the Arcade/Deluxe edition and the standard one? I'd rather buy the standard one to be honest. But just wanna make sure I'm not missing out on any big features.
