I started playing when Skadi was released.

She has been my favorite god since then. Altho she's not really meta, I love her. But anyways,
I think Nike was released, when this happened
It was a casual conquest, and the person playing Khepri pm-ed me after game: "you did a great job!"

And I thanked, that person asked me about stuff like builds, adc builds, how to efficiently play Skadi.

Anyways, I made a new friend.

We then went on Skype and talk. Him and I, became 2 bros, and we played each and every day.

And you know how it goes, destiny makes it so, we are both from the same state. We go on a date, and start liking each other a lot. Wanna know what happens Fast Forward?

We are in relationship. Him and I are getting married next week.

I am sorry, I am not really good writer, stuff I wrote probably sounds so dull, but I still wanted to share.

Thank you so much, from the community, to the developers.

In a week and a half I can post some wedding pics if yall interested .

Hello everyone on r/Smite!

I would like to share with you an A-Z series of 5 reasons why to like a certain god in Smite and it would go in order alphabetically.

There could be more than these 5 reasons so if any could figure out why to like X god then comment down below for ideas!

Also, this will be a series, so I would try to post these as often as possible.

Thanks to everyone who made feedback or have read this post, and we will start with the first god on the list!

Achilles, Hero of the Trojan War!

5 Reasons Why to Like Achilles

  1. He's got dashing good looks.

I mean, come on, do I even need to explain this? I'm not gay in anyway, but in the splash art he looks like a dude who can attract so many woman (besides maybe Apollo). Let's face it, he's one of the few human-like characters in this game and the dude not only looks handsome, he also is a badass. Which I'll describe in the second point.

  1. The dude is pretty much invincible in the lore.

In the lore for those who haven't read it, he is a warrior that could pretty much never be killed in a battle. He was went through hard-fought and long battles, but he never did perish. The only thing that hurt him was an arrow to his heel which was apparently his weakness and died from that (but was then revived). However, without that weakness, he is basically an unkillable knight.

  1. High damage numbers for a Warrior.

I mean....

His 1: 80/135/190/245/300 (+90% of your physical power)

His 3: 50/90/130/170/210 (+50% of your physical power)

His 4: 180/270/360/450/540 (+100% of your physical power)

I am not an expert in Smite, but these numbers are pretty high for a Warrior, who is supposed to be a mix between damage and tankiness.

  1. Ultimate is an execute dash that can reset.

There is a reason why he got nerfed, not only because he was broken on release, but because of this BS ult. His Ult is not only a dash, but it also can execute enemies 30% HP or below. Not to mention it can reset CD upon execute so if you can pull off an execute, you could most likely do it again. No other gods in the game has this kind of execute. Also, even if you don't execute, it has pretty high flat damage and it's a dash so you can finish at least one person off regardless.

  1. His voicelines are divine.

The voiceover this dude has, absolutely fits his character really well. It fits his dashing good looks and his badassery. I feel like I don't have to explain this too much, just listen to his voicelines and you'll see what I mean.

Crazy Idea for the Pyromancer

Taking the Pyromancer is a bit lackluster to say the least, and it honestly doesn't make much sense to get a speed buff from him.

Imo, it would be great if rather than giving you a speed buff and some XP and gold, it instead spawned 3 flame waves, each starting at one of your pheonixes that travel all the way to the enemy pheonixes. These flame waves turn any of your minions that it touches into fire minions as well as instantly killing all of the enemy minions it touches. Enemy gods hit by this flame wave are burned and take some magical damage over time. The wave moves fast but can easily be seen coming from far away and can be avoided by stepping into the jungle. It could even have an effect on the minimap if necessary. All the XP and gold from the death of the enemy minions killed by the flame wave is then distributed equally between your team. The Pyromancer himself doesn't actually provide any XP or Gold.

This makes the Pyromancer give a quick XP and gold boost to your team, though it would be temporary since the enemy team would catch up after taking your waves of minions out. This would also help all lanes push and take down towers. It would be an interesting contrast to the Gold Fury too. The GF would help you by creating income to use and gives your team a lead in the form of gold that helps you throughout the match. The Pyromancer helps you push NOW and gives your team an XP and gold boost over your opponents, but it is temporary, just like your fire minions.

I think this fits much better with the theme of a Pyromancer and might also help bring more focus to that side of the jungle in the early/mid game and spice up the action for solo laners. The effect might seem kind of strong, but no XP or gold is actually created from this unlike taking camps or GF. You are simply gaining the XP and Gold from the minions you would have killed, only sooner rather than later.

Gaming would never be the same if we lost smite

Let's be honest, our head was already in our ass when we seen that new development 'Titan Forge Games' post because 95% of u/smite reddit wouldn't know what they would do if they lost a game like smite. Deep down, smite has impacted all of us from broken god releases to MM that it is apart of OUR DAILY LIFE EVERYDAY and for a beautiful game like smite to just disappear would break all of our hearts, including mine, because true be told, I love smite. I love playing it everyday because its fun and it is enjoyable. This is a powerful game that we simply can't let die because this is a unique game that ultimately connects all of us. THIS IS SMITE "BATTLEGROUND OF THE GODS". I know your heart longs for this game to strive, so make it happen, because this game made its playerbase.
