Skyrim - Official r/Skyrim Screenshot Contest

Official r/Skyrim Screenshot Contest

Posted: 29 Aug 2018 11:49 AM PDT

Your r/Skyrim moderators are proud to announce our official screenshot contest! Please read the guidelines below in order to submit your screenshots. Winners of the contest will receive a $20 gift code for the platform of their choice! (Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo, Steam)

Guidelines

  • Submissions will be judged in two categories, modded and unmodded. Submissions for the unmodded category may not include any modded content, including both graphical mods (retextures, ENBs, lighting overhauls, etc.) and non graphical mods (followers, structures, city overhauls, etc.). Unmodded submissions do not have to come from a save that contains no mods, as long as the image contains nothing that has been added or in any way altered by a mod.

  • Submissions must be clearly labeled for either the modded or unmodded category.

  • All submissions should be titled.

  • Each user may only make one submission to the unmodded category and one to the modded category. Any additional submissions will disqualify all of your submissions.

  • No image submitted may be manipulated in any way. The image should be exactly as it looked in game.

  • All submissions must be screenshots. No pictures taken of your screen will be accepted.

  • All submissions must be made in the form of either an imgur.com link or iReddit image, in a top level comment on this post. No images will be accepted via modmail, direct message, or any other alternative.

  • Submissions will be closed on October 1st.

  • Upvotes will not correlate to likeliness of being selected as a finalist.

  • Please include both the platform the screenshot is taken on, and the version of Skyrim (Oldrim or SSE)

r/Skyrim moderators will select five finalists for each category. Those finalists will be revealed after their selection, at which point the finalists will be opened up for a community vote to select the winner. The winners will be announced on November 11, 2018.

Finalists will not necessarily be selected on graphical beauty. Submissions can be funny, impressive, scary, or beautiful, as long as they are, most importantly, creative.

“Wild Horses” was held back from yesterday’s Creation Club update as it is seemingly still undergoing quality assessment and content additions. This creation is set to add an array of spells, breeds, saddles, and even Unicorns to the Skyrim lore.

So I'm doing the Waking Nightmares quest, just drank the Topor and on my way to release the Miasma, when I spy this asshole just drinking a beer while his order crumbles and his brothers and sisters get slaughtered.

I knocked Dawnbreaker off its pedestal on accident with a spell, I picked it up off the floor, activated the stand like normal and when the quest ended i had two.

Alchemy tower or...

Posted: 30 Aug 2018 06:47 AM PDT

So I'm currently building Winstadt Manor. my family is happily settled in Lakeview so this is a secondary house. It's purpose is to give Ysolda and I a mercantile base in the north to expand our business empire (yeah, yeah, I'll get around to saving the world from dragons, I'm just busy with other things right now).

So I built the fishery as well as a garden and greenhouse and the idea is to stock them with ingredients to make money making potions.

So here's my question,

Should I build the Alchemy Tower? I mean, it does make sense and it gives you some ingredients, but assuming I have an alchemy table anyway do I NEED the tower?

Cos I really want to build a storage room for my cheese!
