The time my horse committed suicide

Posted: 01 Aug 2018 03:59 AM PDT

Something which actually happened.

I had been in a cave doing some random quest or just exploring, cause I like just exploring stuff to try and find gear and shit.
After my exploration I noticed I have too much junk with me, as usual, so I decide to head out of the cave to start traveling towards the nearest village, since I had my trusted steed with me it didn't matter I was over encumbered.

Only that it did matter.

I walk out and the very first thing I see is my horse, right?, it walks over the railing of a simple hanging bridge, not making a sound and starts rolling down the side of the god damn mountain, still silent, until it hits the ground and a single "neigh" sound is heard.

I witnessed my horse taking its own life.

Did you know you could restore full health with the basic restoration spell without using almost any magicka at all?

Help with illusion spells

Posted: 01 Aug 2018 05:42 AM PDT

I started a new stealth archer build two weeks ago, and decided to add the illusion skill to the character. I leveled illusion to 100 and unlocked all the perks. My character is level 48 right now, and today I tried the Mayhem & Hysteria spells in Whiterun to see what happens. To my surprise the spell didn't affect the guards and some other characters, telling me their level was too high. Now I'm a bit confused, cause I searched several pages and read, that my spells should affect most of the character-types (except for the likes of dragons and a few others), even with a character level of 48.

Is this just a bug, or is there something else behind it? Is there a way to solve this? I would really appreciate any kind of help. Thanks in advance.

Note: I'm playing on the ps3 with no mods.

What’s something that doesn’t make any sense to you in Skyrim?

For me it's that fact you have to be thane in a hold to get a house. Like... why? Nobody else in the town had to be thane, why should I have to?
