- I just started to pick back up and play Pokémon go again in this last week on a family vacation, and was welcomed back by my family of Pokemon. Grinding and putting in more hard work led to a whole new top 6 in just 5 days and to so much fun by partaking in raids and battling for gyms together.

- Got my first EX pass
- This just a little idea I thought of that would be perfect for players that aren’t used to some of the throws like a “practice ball” of some sort
- I just hatched this little guy (thanks to some GPS drift? xD)
- So I guess legendary are exempt from all trading bonus eh?
- I am dumb as a rock
- [Question] Is there really any reason at all to not trade Pokemon?

| Request to make sorting Pokémon by HP ordered by max HP instead of percentage of health. Posted: 04 Aug 2018 08:23 AM PDT As it is now, when you sort your Pokémon collection by "HP" it will place them in order of their percentage of HP remaining. So if all your Pokémon have full health it will otherwise sort by combat power. I never use this feature but think it would be a lot more useful if it was ordered by actual HP points. | Will pokemon players ever be able to submit stops? Posted: 04 Aug 2018 11:52 AM PDT Other small town players feel the pain? Im so tired if only having 1 ex eligible gym that no one raids because they are time sensitive, and often dont have any raids happening. Is there any information for this or will it always only be for ingress players? [link] [comments] | ||
| Was just traded my new pride and joy, my favorite reroll... Posted: 04 Aug 2018 09:13 PM PDT All I wanted were some extra Gastly candies and I didn't care what I really got in return...so my friend traded me some Weedles as a joke. But... This boy rerolled into a level one, 100%, lucky pokemon. My new pride and joy. My sweet baby. Just a lil guy trying his hardest. [link] [comments] | ||
| I really miss being able to rotate character models and hear cries for seen Pokemon in the dex. Posted: 03 Aug 2018 11:48 PM PDT I know this seems really trivial, but for players like me who play this game as collectors, it was a nice bit of a reprieve to be able to fully see and hear a Pokemon, but still have its data be elusive. Some regional are very out of reach for some players, but seeing one in a gym gives you a glimpse at it. Not really a big complaint, but I guess I don't see a reason it was taken out. | [photo] finally found my "white whale" Posted: 04 Aug 2018 04:44 PM PDT I've been playing since the game first came out. my kanto dex was nearly complete: thanks to the research projects I'd managed to get all three of the legendary birds and mew, through an ex raid I got mewtwo. for all the rest, hatches and catches and evolutions. there was still just one pokemon I could never find... at times I'd seen its shadow on my radar, but it'd always been somewhere just out of reach. when the game introduced trading, friends would offer to trade me one but I declined, insisting that someday, somehow, I'd track one down for myself. today was that day. it actually showed up in my house. now the only kanto mans I'm missing are the regionals. | I participated in my first EX raid yesterday and I'm still buzzing Posted: 04 Aug 2018 10:59 AM PDT We all remember that rad trailer when this game was being announced. Where thousands showed up in Times Square to take on Mewtwo? While obviously I didn't get a crowd like that, the place I went did have over 50 people show up. Every one was friendly and just as hype as I was. The people who already had a Mewtwo were helpful to us first-timers and every time a group beat the big boss or someone successfully caught him there were cheers. It was kinda surreal to me, even though I've been playing for 2 years. I'm 22 and Pokemon has been my world as long as I can remember. I was emotional when Pokemon GO came out, since it's appealed to people of all kinds and helped me live my dream of going out and being a trainer. This Mewtwo thing wasn't as big a deal as that trailer, but it was a very pleasant surprise. I guess what I wanna discuss is how everyone else feels about the game? What are your best experiences so far? What keeps you coming back? How did it start? I just wanna hear about others Pokemon journies [link] [comments] | ||
| [Idea] Something that turns purple outside the gym after you spin the gyms stop. Posted: 04 Aug 2018 08:49 AM PDT It makes things easier if you see when the 5 minutes are over. So you don't have to check multiple times to see if it's blue again. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 04 Aug 2018 02:19 PM PDT I would like to thank the community once more for being so grammar and for making this game one of a kind and very special. Wherever I go, to a mall, amusement park, or just to my local market, people who play the game are happy to trade, battle, raid, or just even talk about the game. Thank you for making pokemon go simply amazing [link] [comments] | ||
| Don't Forget to Trade a Legendary Posted: 04 Aug 2018 05:54 AM PDT This latest event gives you 6 candies for a distance trade. On average it takes 2 or 3 raids to get 6 rare candies. Does miss the opportunity to claim your 6 candies per day. Yesterday I sent a new Raikou and received a Mewtwo. Both had decent IVs but it doesn't matter. Someone is going to get high IVs or get Lucky. [link] [comments] | ||

| I made an app to scan trainer codes Posted: 04 Aug 2018 08:28 AM PDT I got tired of manually entering people's trainer codes that I met during raids so I wrote an app. The app scans another person's phone screen, finds the trainer code and copies it to the clipboard to be pasted in the POGO add friend screen. It also makes a QR code of your code that can be scanned by the built in camera apps of other people's phones that don't have the app. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pgo-passport/id1420370007?ls=1&mt=8 [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 04 Aug 2018 09:28 AM PDT Today I did my first ex raid, after getting the invite from the community day Zapdos raids I did. So excited to have finally gotten one and thankfully I was able to catch it, although my wife was not as lucky. Just excited, and wanted to brag a bit. Yes I know tons of people have it already, even some of the people at the raid today had more than 5, but I think it's really cool, and I'm happy. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 04 Aug 2018 05:25 PM PDT It'd be very interesting if day and night swapped for 24 hours. So night pokemon would be out during actual day light hours and vice versa. Niantic could also tie this into an event by somehow blaming the flip on a pokemon, having events etc. Thoughts? Who else would love to see this? [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 04 Aug 2018 04:03 PM PDT Question about the ex raid passes, still not completely understanding. I received the ex raid pass on a 3* raid battle (porygon) I did it with a couple friends and only one of them got it then. My question; will people have the ability to still gain that ex raid pass for the specified time? [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 04 Aug 2018 09:39 PM PDT I suffer from not being able to hit excellent throws as often for research tasks such as "land 'x-amount' of curve excellent throws in a row". Personally I don't think it's such a bad idea because this practice ball could help you practice with your throws but you just wouldn't be able to catch any Pokémon while using this ball. | So I guess legendary are exempt from all trading bonus eh? Posted: 04 Aug 2018 09:10 PM PDT No matter how we setup our trade, we are only gaining a single candy per trade, despite the fact that the trades are 2000km apart. Can't even get the bonus double from the ongoing event. Funny I don't remember seeing I. The announcement that legendaries were left out. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 04 Aug 2018 05:41 PM PDT I've been playing since the beginning but I still don't know shit What is a spoofer What is an ex raid as opposed to a raid??? I am pretty sure these are basic questions but if anyone wants to enlighten me it would be much appreciated sorry thank you [link] [comments] | ||
| [Question] Is there really any reason at all to not trade Pokemon? Posted: 04 Aug 2018 08:12 PM PDT With the 50% stardust cost for upgrading, I really can't think of a reason to keep a (non legendary) Pokemon instead of trading it. The benefit of getting a lucky Pokemon is huge, especially with a decent IV floor, I'd much rather have an 80% IV and a 50% discount on upgrading than a 90% standard Pokemon. Additionally, if you aren't successful in getting a lucky Pokemon, then you get at least 1 candy for the trade, 1 candy for the transfer, and can go catch or raid for another Pokemon. My current strategy is to catch high level Pokemon (weather boosted, or simply high CP) and swap them with a friend hoping to get a decent IV lucky. If it doesn't happen, scrap it and trade again. Outside of sentimental value, can anyone tell me why holding onto a Pokemon is a good idea at all? [link] [comments] | ||
| Pokemon go Events in Germany (Cologne) Posted: 04 Aug 2018 08:42 PM PDT Are there Official Pokémon events in Cologne or are they only in America (like the Pokémon Go Day)(I think it was called that). And there am i able to see if a event is coming up ? (i dont figured that out yet) [link] [comments] |
