| Giga Drain for Meganium [idea] Posted: 15 Aug 2018 07:00 AM PDT I know not everyone is super thrilled about a Chikorita community day, but it could be a good time to introduce a special move that does more than just damage. I think that having a move like Giga Drain that both damages the enemy and heals the user would be a nice way to add an extra dimension to battle without really ruining the whole experience. CP would reach exactly 3000 at lvl 40 I knew I would get myself Espeon. So past CD I got gifted another 100% Eevee, this time even shiny! I didn't even have to think what to evolve, here is the result (I admit I was a bit nervous after seeing what happenend to other people that wanted espeon/umbreon but didn't get what they wanted). We made Eevees and shiny Eevees for Saturday. For Sunday, we made the items that players can receive as gifts in game. We placed ~5 random cookies in a bag and labeled them with the trainer names of those who helped us to decorate the cookies, like so — "Username has sent you a gift!" [link] [comments]  |
| Umbreon/Espeon evolution: something I noticed Posted: 15 Aug 2018 07:05 PM PDT I just evolved a shiny Eevee into Umbreon to complete (for now) my shiny collection of that family. I kept seeing on here that the walking method wasn't working for some people, so I was very careful when I did it. I waited for the second 5k/candy notification to come through. Then I went to the Eevee's individual page. Before I hit "evolve," I scrolled down. I was surprised to see it still said "5 km total walked!" So I went back to the buddy page to make sure I wasn't mistaken about it being the second 5k that I had just earned. But there it said "10 km total walked!" So then I went back to the 'mon's individual page again and it has since updated to "10 km" there, as well. So I'm thinking the problem that some people are having might be in the slight delay in updating the Eevee's individual page after the candy is earned. Hopefully that helps some people... Posted: 15 Aug 2018 07:12 AM PDT So this guy is uploading videos to YouTube on how to hack spoof and all kind of disgusting game ruining things and Niantic won't do sh*t about that?! Yesterday he did a live training with people that teleported to him and laughed about Niantic that they can't touch him or do anything to him. Like really you have a free ban here..... he even shows his account name on those videos.. Edit: I just found out (by one of his videos) that Niantic actually made the bad system less efficient! | Posted: 15 Aug 2018 07:26 AM PDT Did not they tweet about an action packed August when Raikou was announced for field quests?? I do not want to sound too pessimistic but it is more like an August full of boredom so far. Registeel is not a popular or strong raid boss so I see very little people raiding. Eevee community day was fun but due to very hot weather at most of the places and due to event being at 12am-3pm at most of the places, lots of people did not attend. They have announced a 2 week trading event which is not something very special. Don't get me wrong trading is fun but the event is meh. Shiny Snubbul and houndoor is way to hard to find for some people even for the ones at the correct biomes. New quests are not that great. The leak of an Evolution event really let down things when it did not happen... Well I do not know what else to say. What are your thoughts? Will there be an event or an update? What will it be in the near future? Maybe Pokestop subs or the late evolution event? Introduction to gen 4? New raid boss except Regirock? [link] [comments]  |

| What if Lucky Pokemon had a different background depending on the original trainer's team? Posted: 15 Aug 2018 04:47 PM PDT Right now, the Lucky Pokemon background is a splashy affair of golden bubbling light. There are a few additional effects carried over from the Pokemon's primary type (the Psychic overlay is especially nice) but I think it would be neat if the Lucky background were different depending on the team of the player who traded you that Pokemon. It would add a bit of aesthetic variety, an extra level of collection for players who want it, and it might encourage some players to trade a bit more with players of another team. What do you think? I'm pretty sure most if not all places that can play pokémon go have region exclusives but there are some areas with overlap, so would there be multiple region exclusives per region, like multiple exclusive to North America, or would there just be more hemisphere exclusive ones that rotate? | [Idea]Can we PLEASE be allowed to friend our own kids? Posted: 15 Aug 2018 01:03 PM PDT I've finally found a way for my step son to play Pokémon GO with us. However, it didn't even occur to me that he wouldn't be able to friend anyone until his account reached a high enough level that it was weird that he still couldn't friend anyone. Then it was pointed out to me that he likely couldn't friend anyone because of his age. herp derp! That makes sense. I assume anyone under the age of 13 (typical online cutoff age) is unable to be friended or make friends with others. I'm all for protecting our kids from predators. However, my wife and I have plenty of stuff we've collected to trade with him. And, as a result of this rule, we'll have to wait up to 5 years to be able to even start making friend progress with him? There's already a Pokemon GO settings tab on the online page on pokemon.com. Can we please get a way for a parent to manually add friends for their child? [link] [comments]  |

| Create Pokestops Without Ingress? Posted: 15 Aug 2018 06:53 PM PDT I currently live in a fairly rural area. There's one or two stops in about a km of my location, and the rest of everything including gyms are a 10 min drive away. I've heard you can get stops and gyms added in PoGo by taking pics on ones that are in Ingress. However after downloading Ingress all the stops around me are already there. Is there any way to suggest new stops in either Ingress or PoGo? [link] [comments]  |
