We desperately need a button that allows us to skip the countdown for when a raid starts. If you do a solo raid once a day, then you waste an hour per month just on the countdown screen. | Please don't reset sound settings every time you log out Posted: 20 Aug 2018 01:41 AM PDT Every time I am a Co-Driver in a car and need to switch accounts on the phone in Pokemon because I have to catch Magicarps for my driving girlfriend, the music and sound effects are turned on again, which is a pain in the ass when you're blasting your fire mixtape through the car's USB and it mixes up with Pokemon's tunes. I don't get why these settings are being reset when switching accounts?! /Edit: I forgot to mention that there is no option at all to disable or stop the music as long as you're not logged in either. While a seemingly good flair, it is giving me wicked motion sickness and nausea.. can we turn it off as an option? Edit: AR+ is off. However, this requires people to be looking at the Discord. It would be awesome if there was a way to receive an alert for local gyms in our vicinity that have people waiting to take it down. However, I found it easier to do raids in the past when we would be able to know when raids were going on or were going to happen in our local area. People here might not believe me but I have not used any spoofing app nor used any IV checker. So I cannot understand how the heck I am getting this. I submitted a ticket to Niantic but I am expecting that they will just reply with the same generic email. How can a broken system like this gets implemented? (I don't know if you guys would remember but I was the one who posted the Articuno shot from Mt. Pilatus during my trip around Europe. Niantic also slapped me with a red warning a few days after that 30day trip.) Sorry if this came off like a rant. It's just that I don't understand why this happens on my account. I don't know what their system is detecting from my phone/account. EDIT: corrected broken link and some grammar. UPDATE: 630am PH time. So my brother finally wokeup. He said he previously rooted the phone to install an older patch of Android and to reactivate the "backup while charging only" function for Google Photos. But he said explicitly remembers having it unrooted afterwards. I tried lookinh for a magisk folder but couldn't find any. So I am going to ask a friend who knows a thing or two about samsung and android phones to scour the whole file system to check for any dubious app or folder that may be causing the flag. I don't want to do it myself coz I'm a bit worried I might break the phone. Lol. But until then RIP celebi quest. :( Niantic support just sent their generic reply of just follow the TOS so I think there's no hope of help from them. Thanks to /u/FinalGary, /u/BiggestofBears, /u/DarkGamer000, and /u/ThanatosSelisen and the others I failed to mention for giving ideas on what to check. You're much more helpful than Niantic Support. Wouldn't it be nice to know what you are going to get out of it before you waist your time? I'm currently woking on "Johto Festival: Evolve 3 Sunkern or Natu". | Had one of those "Hard work pays off" moments in Pokemon Go today Posted: 20 Aug 2018 06:45 AM PDT Ever since I missed the Charmander community day I've been trying other ways to get myself a shiny Charmander. The removal of the little guy from raids has been a big setback for me and I've resorted to hunting for the "power up a Pokemon 5 times" research task. And lucky me none of the pokestops in my city had this quest. As I began to head back to the shop I work at I noticed a pokestop with a ring around it, I had not visited it. This pokestop was up top a massive hill with a lot of stairs. It took me around quite a bjt to walk up this steep hill and because I'm not even remotely fit, it was exausting! My legs were burning when I was finally at the top and what would you know, that pokestop had the research task! Although I did not get my shiny Charmander, I felt like the game was making me actually work towards a goal and the lesson I learnt today is that if you push that little bit further you will eventually reach your goals!
