Looks like BDO kill my Gtx660 - Need some help\advise from poor bastards as me) Posted: 13 Aug 2018 11:41 PM PDT Yesterday i see some BDO youtube video and think - "HEY! it is long time since i last time play this game - lets check what new shiny stuff they add to it" - if i only know(... After reading news (while game downloading) i become very exciting about new graphic update and cant wait to launch it. Long story short - after about 10-20 minutes of checking my inventory for all that event items i hear hard hdd writing\reading sound and then my screen becomes black. firstly i think that it was some kind of glitch but then after several restart attempt i realise the sad truth - my palit gtx 660 are dead - not even bios can detect it anymore. Good news is that i have i5 2500k on my pc and can use integrated video/ So i have some questions for guys that have same problem and can share they exp: 1) I am living in small town and dont have free money to just go and buy new videocard - because of it i have some skill in restoring pc parts and looks like in this case trouble cause melted small parts on back side of my videocard power subsystem. Anyone have same troubles? Can it be fixed by replacing this small poor bastards or it is most likely that mosfets need to be replaced too(they looks good and not damaged)? Any hope that it can be fixed by just drawing power lines by graphite pencil instead af replacing this small melted corpses? 2) As hopes to fix my videocard are not as high as i want looks like i stuck with intell hd 3000 for long time so any suggestions about how make bdo playable with this card are very welcome. I already make changes in bios and make this pony ride as fast as 1910 mhz and my ddr3 run as 2133 at 11-13-12-28 timings - but even with low settings i have like 5-10 fps - have anyone made this run faster than that? I also hear that bdo was ported on mobile platforms so it may make sense to try made some kind cfg changes to lower graphics even more - is there are some guide for this? 3) Just curious - what do you think what videocard will be needed to play bdo with all new graphic at 1080? | Trying to return to BDO... where to start? Posted: 13 Aug 2018 11:20 AM PDT Hey! I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and to be honest it's a little overwhelming. I have a level 56 warrior, I played upon release and eventually RL came and BDO was dropped. Are there any smaller/Open guilds that anyone could recommend? Sure I can YouTube and read for hours but this is an MMO meant for players working together, not isolation. Any recommendations would be great!
