Endless too long (suggestion for tripwire) Posted: 18 Aug 2018 08:53 AM PDT My suggestion is to add the game length switch to endless mode so that server hosts could select short, normal, long, etc game lengths. Second suggestion would be to add a long (5 mins) trader break after 20 rounds or so. This way people can take a bathroom break or get a drink. If everyone wanted to keep playing they could simply skip trader and keep playing. [link] [comments]
Can PC players play with console players? Posted: 18 Aug 2018 09:09 PM PDT I'm on xbox one. I ask because lately I have been seeing random "fuck u fatso" "yo nigga give me my gun back" "lol this sux" messages Every 10th match or so maybe its the same person? I'd love to type messages out [link] [comments]
is it too late to rework how recoil works in this game? Posted: 19 Aug 2018 04:19 AM PDT having gotten burnt out on kf2 recently i turned towards other games like Left 4 Dead 2 and Payday 2 to get my FPS fill with different gamemodes other than KF2's signature survival. in these games, such as Left 4 Dead 2, i notice it feels 10 times better shooting the guns in that game and it has 1/10 the weapons of this game. KF2's recoil, while realistic, feels awful to control, if you can even call it that. it's not tight at all, and is somewhat counter-intuitive to KF2's core gameplay style, which revolves around very hectic combat and quick-decision making. having to stop and aim while also having to keep shoving your mouse down feels so loose and flimsy it gets tiring after a while, and not to mention frustrating if you're trying to track a target at a strange angle because if you miss you have to take what could be considered too much time re-orienting yourself and again, with how fast-paced the combat is sometimes you don't have that kind of time before you lose sight of your target KF1's style of recoil isn't the same as L4D2 but it is a little better than KF2's, you still need to pull your mouse down to stay on target but it feels like you have more control and your weapon only goes up when fired continuously instead of it feeling like you're being pulled in all directions like in kf2. unlike kf1 though it's really hard to feel out where your bullets are gonna go before you shoot them and like i said, missing usually means you have to reorient your entire view before shooting again which doesn't support kf2's fast-action gameplay. in KF1 it was a little more tolerable because, like i said before, it felt like you had more control over it, but also because enemies and the action overall was much slower. so in a way it felt faster than kf2 because you spend more time shooting things then trying to figure out how far to drag your mouse down to stay on target all in all, i kinda wish this game's recoil system was more like Left 4 Dead 2's or Payday 2's where it reorients itself back to the center between each shot so your bullets go exactly where they say they're going to go and you have 100% control and understanding of that, whereas in this game if you're not pulling down the right amount your bullets are going above the center of the screen off in directions you don't want it to and it's hard to maintain especially with kf2's fast-action gameplay that requires you be able to reorient yourself faster than the game allows with this kind of realistic yet loose and flimsy recoil system. Some suggestions for existing weapons that have Tier 5 potential! Posted: 18 Aug 2018 01:44 PM PDT I have an idea that 3 existing weapons can become Tier 5 with some buffs and changes to weapons
What are your ideas? [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Aug 2018 10:23 AM PDT What would be the best perk to solo this to wave 25, or the best two perks to duo it? Is there any place to hold out at all or is it just a pure run and gun fest? [link] [comments] |
