I seem to die fairly quickly from lack of any number of things, or to the weather (if I spawn in a snow area). Should I find a town? Roam? I used to have a save in the default world and had a base with guns, water, food, etc in one of the towns, but that got corrupted. But can't figure out how I managed to survive long enough to find a sustainable setup. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Looking for a Person Or Two for Valmod Overhaul Posted: 15 Aug 2018 04:07 PM PDT TL;DR: IS FOUND BELLOW I'm on a low pop server right now that has the Valmod Overhaul with "BBM" (I had assumed this meant bigger backpack mod, but the backpack is the same, I don't know). If you dont know about the mod, it's really fun, but also pretty difficult. You progress slower than in vanilla, which I like, because I don't want to hit endgame as fast as I do in vanilla. The mod sports new zombies, new items, the crafting has been changed a bit, and all sorts of cool things. If you are interested but don't have the mod, download 7d2d mod launcher (yes that is the name), look under valmar and you will find the complete pack with the backpack mod. I'm looking for a person or two to join me and a friend I met online (and an irl friend of mine who rarely plays though). If you're interested write a message or send me a pm, and we'll see if we can get this started! Btw: I prefer "older" individuals (I'm 28 myself) but I have some flexibility. I am looking for mature individuals who don't cause fights and aren't control freaks, stuff like that. Feel free to hmu! TL;DR: need 1-2 (maybe even 3 if you are a group) to join for some Valmod fun on a server I found. I've included instructions on getting the mod and a little about what it's like. Posted: 15 Aug 2018 04:01 PM PDT I'm building an unground base, and doing so I built a temporary base not too deep, and then I'm building a shaft until I hit bedrock. As I was expansing my base the dirt ceiling collapse. So now I'm trying to avoid this with a rock cieling. What's the best layout of pillars to keep a ceiling from collapsing? Does putting wood frames along the ceiling (not talking about the pillars here), help at all? Also, does dirt collapse easier than stone? Thanks [link] [comments]  | ||
