Lúcio has not gotten any balance changes in 2018 and is currently a Tier 4 Support in HGC Phase 2 (Link) selected 5 times and banned 3 times with a 60% win rate. Lúcio's popularity on the HotS ladder based on Heroes.report(Link) and HotsLogs (Link) is around 11% with a win rate of about 49% over the past seven days.

These were just from the top of my head, but there's so much more and it's mind boggling how people with thousands of games played have no idea what these things are. | We Need More "Non-Humanoid" Heroes Posted: 31 Jul 2018 10:55 AM PDT The characters we've been getting recently have been fine, but they don't really scratch the itch for people who like to play "beast" type characters. As far as "non-humanoid" characters go the last one we got was Fenix, and before that it was many months earlier with Probius. They provide an interesting presence on the battlefield to be sure, but their robotic nature doesn't really hit the mark. We have to go all the way back to Dehaka for our last "beast" style character. I think we're due for someone whose primary attack is their claws or teeth. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 31 Jul 2018 06:10 AM PDT I mean, I didn't do amazingly, and placed Silver 5, but to me it was more the fact that I conquered something that I have been staring down. (Because while I was shit scared of playing HL, my mind was still like "C'mon you gotta do this"). I was literally that anxious that during the first draft I was physically shaking. My logical brain knows that it's stupid to do that, but my anxious brain just likes to melt into a heap of gurgling confusion. There was of course, some toxicity, but overall it went well. I used a draft tool website to help me with my picks since coming from QP meant I didn't have much draft experience. I had to flex away from my preferred heroes somewhat, but that added to the fun. So for all of you in the same boat as me, who feel like you're in a tug of war between anxiety (or anything else) and having fun, just dip your toe in, the water's fine! (Albeit a bit salty sometimes). Edit: I just wanted to mention, for all those saying "it's a bloody game". That yes, I know. That doesn't mean that dealing with my anxiety over it wasn't a big deal, and it also doesn't mean like I'm trying to say any of this was completely life changing. | Posted: 31 Jul 2018 02:06 PM PDT Garrosh was released 2017-08-08. In roughly a week it will be an entire year since we last got a new main tank. Before Garrosh was Johanna 2015-06-02. As a tank main I have been really disappointed by not getting any new tanks. Since Johanna, 9 Supports have been released, 20 assassins, 1 Cho'gall, 8 bruisers, 1 main tank and Varian. Varian can main tank with Taunt but hasn't been viable since charge nerf. Varian also is a weird case because he can flex to other roles, not a true main tank. There have been a couple heroes that Blizz tried saying could main tank but have failed. Most notably Yrel and Blaze. I never really complain about what heroes get released. I love seeing new heroes and how they shake up the meta. I just want Blizz to give us main tanks some love too. Note: I got release dates from here https://heroesofthestorm.gamepedia.com/List_of_heroes_by_release_date. I think it is accurate but tbh exact dates don't matter that much. It's a casual game mode where new players can experience all the content. Are there some ideas or expectations for future Dva changes? I love her and her playstyle but I cannot play more than two games without feeling on disadvantage. | Missed connection: Quick match Lunara Posted: 31 Jul 2018 03:54 PM PDT Dear quick match Lunara player - I was Cassia, we had a Kerrigan and unfortunately a bot Stukov on Garden of Terror. Kerrigan and I started a fun thing where we blamed you for not using abilities that you didn't have. Things like "Lunara please use ancestral ult next time" when we are at level 4. "Lunara please resurrect me" at level 7. Things that I thought were so sarcastic that clearly you would get a laugh out of it too. I think you blocked me though. Near the end of the game you mentioned "report/block and move on" and then it dawned on me you didn't take it as a joke... I tried apologizing in game but I think by then damage was done. That's fair. I tried to whisper you after-game but it wouldn't let me. I assumed because you reported/blocked me. Toxic chat/behavior is something I abhor in almost any situation, and this game is no exception. In hindsight, my well intended but "over the top sarcasm so it's clearly a joke" was toxic. I sincerely apologize. The "obvious joke" status is subjective so if you reported me, ok, I understand. Lesson to me, lesson learned. I don't blame you. Anyway you did your best, win or lose. There is so much drama, flaming, risk of being reported and auto-banned, pointless arguments that either distracts me or tilts me. Team chat off. Prevents me from yelling at someone and getting banned because when I press enter, it doesn't let me type. I also mute ping spammers. Unfortunately this is what you have to do when you are in a game with 5 totally random human beings competing with different skill levels, knowledge and social skills. Gold/plat league. Works great.
