Its no accident that, the daily login rewards for this month are bloody good! Zenimax doesn't want us to play Battle for Azeroth expansion which is releasing next week! They want us to login to ESO every day for the sweet rewards.

I have no intention of playing WoW but I would still like to take this opportunity to thanks Blizzard good rewards in ESO. I hope they will release another expansion next week for even better daily rewards in ESO!

A long backstory first -

Yesterday I was doing my normal pve stuff and crafting sets when one of my friends told me that the EP gates in Shor are open.

Being on my main toon who does pve, casual pvp and crafting i often find myself in need of skill points so I have collected all skyshards in the game except the cyrodiil ones behind non-AD gates.

I instantly went into Shor as a guest and ported to Farragut Keep to get the skyshard past the gate of ghartok. Unfortunately as soon as I ported there EP people started their seige and I died. I couldn't sneak past them and ultimately lost the keep and the gate was closed before I could get past it :(

This wouldn't be enough to quit so I went to Kingscrest Keep to get the skyshard past the gate of chim. Turns out there is a massive battle going on at the gate so I died a few times trying to get to the other side. A little fighting later we were able to push through the gate and fight on the other side of it.

This is where I found the perfect opportunity to slip past the fighting and went ahead towards the temple while sneaking alongside trees (sorry my fellow AD soldiers I had to defect). I did have to be careful because EP reinforcements were pouring in and I found it hard to remain undetected; until my worst fears were realized.

I forgot to look on my left side and found myself crouching down openly on a mountain slope while a person on a horse was galloping towards me. I sneaked out, tried to use streak but he used rune cage. I was stunned and didn't even bother to break free, as I had given up on the skyshard and thought about coming back some other time.

He comes to me, looks at me for about 5 seconds, uses power surge and sprints away to the gate leaving me still stunned. That act of sparing ended up with me finally getting that skyshard and leaving cyrodiil peacefully.

To the person who spared my life - thank you very much, your act of kindness made my day. I will never forget you.

tl;dr - enemy player stuns me, realizes I'm there for a skyshard, leaves me be.

Cyrodiil the most immersive zone?

Im kind of surprised. Before, I was playing Cyrodiil on and off in small batches mostly by using LFG and storming some forts.

But now with the new event I just decided to select one of the new smaller lag-free campaigns and just roam around, gather some shards and materials, do some quests for the lovely event boxes, explore the zone... I'm mostly playing after peak-hours so if I'm having some rare pvp, it's mostly small group skirmish or 1 vs 1. Most of the time I'm only seeing friendlies or no ppl at all.

And I have to say the zone is really charming when you just roam around. NPC spawns are much rarer, so you don't see those typical massive MMO groups of mobs everywhere, just rolling forests, hills and small villages. I love the feeling of it, like a totally different game. And it's not like I'm wasting time, with the event rewards there is a lot to gain by just questing/gathering the boosted nodes there and avoiding the big fights.

The villages also kind of remind me of Warhammer Online. I like how secluded and life-like some of them feel. And the quests are pretty varied.

Nice experience :)

750 + CP not shown?

Hi. I know that 750 is the CP cap but you are able to go above it without getting any more points. I once saw a 1024 CP running around which is the only one I have ever seen above 750. The thing I cant really understand though, is everybody of the people I see are 750. And I am sure they are above that but why doesn't it show up?

Sorc pets build VS no pets

I feel like I'm not the DPS I used to be. I'm getting the feeling that with pets I got somehow weaker.

Has anyone tried running both builds?

I give up teaching dungeon mechanics.

I usually solo queue for vet dlc dungeons and with that I'm a fairly experienced and patient player. I know the mechanics and I absolutely don't mind teaching them to those who don't know how to do that dungeon, but goddamn, after this particular run, I just refuse to be teaching anymore.

I queued for vet fang lair just for the fun and challenge and to pass some free time. I was cp750 among a cp500 tank and heals and a cp300 dps. I didn't have much hope but I just decide to stick around and see how it all runs through.

We actually had a smooth run all the way up to the skeleton bosses. The healer suggested to separately dps the bosses, starting with senche, the guar and then the bear, so fine, we stick to that plan to see how it goes.

So many things went wrong: First, the tank decides to stand and take in ALL the damage from ALL the wolves, he survives it for a while so I didn't say anything. Second, the senche comes back up as soon as the guar is dead and obviously pins down someone and ends in one shot bc puppies were hugging that player before they exploded. Then the healer (who had a huge mouth) just stood rezzing and not even moving away when the wolves are just standing around and slowly exploding on him.

We tried that method twice and we wiped both times before the boss was even 80%.

Then I suggest to just cleave down the guar and the bear at the same time while walking in circles from the wolves. The healer then told me to just follow the first method. I got bit salty in the end so without saying anything, I decide to dps the bear straight after getting the senche out of the way. The healer kept yelling at me to go after the guar first. Tank died, dps died, finally healer died bc he didn't bother avoiding wolves when attempting to rez and finally I died. Then I got kicked out for dpsing the bear. I think I'm done trying to help players in vet dungeons.

Newbie looking for Add-ons

So I've tried a few add-ons some youtuber have recommended , like AUI / Destinations / Lorebooks / Skyshards , but after log in and play, I found out that some of them either have bugs (my health point / stamina not showing up) or they are not functioning (I've checked the add on menu and all of them have the click icon) like the skyshards are not showing up on my map.

So is there any fix to this? or I should find some other updated add-ons, if so what do you guys recommend ?

Cheap/easy/fast set for mag nb pvp

I have a nb magblade I was planning to grind a caluurion set for for the cyrodiil pvp event but other things came in the way and I will not have time for it. I already have a fully crafted gold shacklebreaker set to go with it as well as monster sets.

The slots I have empty are inferno staff, resto staff and jews. I was thinking either an overland set that I can buy or a crafted set with max 4 traits needed (im badly researched on jews slots).

I was thinking either spell crit for burst dmg, something defensive or something unexpected.

I was thinking torugs pact, song of lamae, innate axiom, assassins guile, robes of the withered hand, queens elegance, stygian, way of the fire (this work with destro staff abilities right?), mothers sorrow, thunderbugs carapace, storm knights plate, draugrs heritage, syvarras scales, mad tinkerer orgrace of gloom.

But in reality I have no idea at all since I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to pvp.

Basically I reported on this yesterday and am just giving you guys a heads up / warning about this whole situation:

I've traded crowns for gold now 3 times. According to the TOS and what other people even here have told me, I've always recorded the transactions and screen-shotted them because I thought I'd at least be protected by ZOS in this situation.

Well so far, despite me submitting the recording I have of the transaction, and even the screen shots, ZOS has basically just mailed me back some automated response that said "We're not gonna tell you the outcome of this situation to protect the people involved."

I've gotten three responses from them in my support inbox so far. 2 of these responses are apparently just non-existent, despite it saying my inbox had new mail from them, and the 3rd one was this lame automated response that basically told me nothing.

So despite Crowns for Gold being essentially covered in their TOS, they've so far done nothing about this. I got ripped off of a half million yesterday finally despite three transactions like this going fine before, and although ZOS supposedly will cover it if you provide ample proof and evidence, they've so far done nothing other than email me an automated response saying they're now going to "protect" the outcome of this investigation, which still doesn't solve my problem.

I learned yesterday that there's a proper market for these sorts of transactions, but at the time I was just responding to someone advertising things in zone chat, like I'd done three times before, where it went off without a hitch. The bigger picture here is that if ZOS is going to allow these sorts of transactions in-game, then they need to provide some sort of peace of mind or player protection by maybe allowing these things to be offered up in the mutual trade screen between two players. This is why I also sort of believe the responsibility is partially on them to solve this problem I'm having: They allow it in their TOS, but have stopped short of providing proper protection for players like me in these situations.

This isn't a bitch-post. I am just updating everyone on the situation as a cautionary tale. As of right now it seems like ZOS will approve of these sorts of transactions in their TOS, but at the same time, don't seem to be willing to do something about it if a situation happens like the one I went through yesterday. Yes, I am aware now that there are proper channels through Discord or etc to do these sorts of things, but for many of us not involved with this subreddit or etc, we might not know this, and instead ZOS is just perpetuating players ripping one another off, by allowing these sorts of transactions, but not providing a safe channel or process to do them.

I’m wearing two 5 pieces sets, what jewelry, advice?

I'm not experienced and haven't yet tried Vet Dungeons to get a Monster Set.

Yesterday, for the first time, I finally managed to craft my first set!!!

My Stamina Nightblade DW/Bow has.

2 Daggers/Bow, Shoulders, Body, Gloves (Hunding's Rage)
Helm, Legs, Boots, Belt, Amulet (Spriggan)

This gives me 5 bonus from Hunding and Spriggan. Now I have 2 Rings of Agility...

As there are only 12 Slots, I can't have 2x5 pieces set and a 3 pieces jewelry bonus...

Any advice for what rings should I wear, please?

PS: I play a lot of solo, and I'm still afraid to run Vet Dungeons as I feel like I'm not yet powerful enough.

Feel like I'm going crazy

So recently while playing I've noticed something. I'll be in combat and randomly a chest opening sound will play. I've been trying to figure out what triggers it but nothing seems to be. I dont know if its my addons or what. This sound plays everywhere I fight enemies. in battlegrounds, or pve. I don't get it. I don't know if my addons could be causing this but here's my list. Has anyone else encountered this? its driving me nuts. It happens on my girlfriend's machine too (same addons)
