| My friend gifted me Diablo 3 battle chefs and I don’t get why this game is so much fun Posted: 14 Aug 2018 04:33 PM PDT I seriously have no idea. All you do is point and click and press some buttons from time to time yet I can't stop thinking about playing it again.. I'm a WoW player and today I preferred logging in on Diablo 3 and smash some monsters than enjoying the brand new expansion. I love the art style and the sound design. Oh my god the sound design IS SO GOOD. I haven't finished the first act and all I know of the story is that King Loric went insane and I'm exploring his domains. I'm glad my friend gifted this game to me because I did not want to buy it the reason being that I tried PoE and I was falling asleep so I did not even play 45 mins. (more text in thread) Posted: 14 Aug 2018 03:25 AM PDT So, I have the base game from back when it was released but dropped it after ~30 hours (which was my money's worth I think) because it wasn't as addicting as D2. Now after the hype-train slowly starts rolling I want to give it another try. But I'm a little confused. Do I only need to buy Reaper of souls or do I need to buy Rise of the Necro, too? Or is the battle-chest the cheapest option for me? Maybe someone can give me a quick help with this. I'm from Europe/Germany, if this changes anything. Thanks and y'all have a great day! | Show me a well rolled Wisdom of Kalan Posted: 14 Aug 2018 03:13 PM PDT Wasted so many mats reforgning and upgrading neck items, its desperately crap that Wisdom of Kalan always comes with attack speed, a worthless stat on neck pieces. Seriously its a bloody hard item to get, Krysbins sentence also comes with attack speed guaranteed but its slightly more forgiving since you can cube it. You Can't realistically cube WoK without ruining your build. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Trying to install Diablo II on Mac Posted: 14 Aug 2018 02:30 PM PDT I recently got that DII itch again, and so I went to the Blizzard website to install the client. Lo and behold, they have a Mac downloader! So I got all excited to not need Bootcamp, and downloaded the installer. Which doesn't work. I get a popup for the file selector, which of course yields nothing. It seems to be looking for a file package, which I do not have. So I pop that into my torrent application, and sure enough, it's stalled because there are 0 seeds or peers. Effectively, this app has become abandonware by Blizzard on the Mac. I'm hoping I'm not alone in wanting to play this on Mac, and that better yet, someone has the download somewhere. If you do, and could seed it to me, that would be fantastic.
