How to lead your arrows as Mirana ( Video Guide ) Posted: 06 Jul 2018 08:16 AM PDT So yesterday i made a hastily put together video showing obscure ward locations, and although there were some issues with it, the overall reception seemed to be good. Because of that I decided I would start doing little guides, tips, and tricks etc, when I came up with anything I thought might help people out in the community. This one is just a quick video showing how long to lead your arrows for consistent results when playing mirana. The guide covers how long the flight time will be for each stun duration available, and why its important to know that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8vVWbgSrLE&feature=youtu.be [link] [comments] |
How are you supposed to snowball as Pango? (Guardian bracket) Posted: 06 Jul 2018 03:33 AM PDT I've read numerous high skilled players saying that they would pick Pango to climb in MMR because he can build utility, has a quasi-escape and an ult that can turn team fights. I love the hero, however I cannot win with him. I can get great farm (for my bracket), have Mjolnir, Abyssal, Travels, Greaves, etc. but my build doesn't deviate from that often (part of the reason I lose, I'm sure). What other utility can he offer, whilst still taking advantage of his natural skillset? Furthermore, I have problems pushing towers. If my team is elsewhere and I want to push a lane by myself (to prevent our tower damage or try to divide the enemy's priorities), Pango hits buildings like a wet noodle. Combined with his inherent squishiness, I don't want to hang around and wait for the creeps to finish the tower. Am I approaching the play style wrong with pushing, or should I just try to keep lanes pushed, let the creeps work and run back to my team? In my bracket I get so antsy about NOT killing buildings, because my mechanical skill isn't high enough for game-changing plays. [link] [comments] |
How do you pick good heroes when there are no obvious counterpicks? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 12:03 PM PDT This is one of my major problems. I know one pick can make or break a draft but the right picks aren't always that obvious. How do you guys handle this problem? Obviously it comes with experience but maybe there's some tactics or tips you know. Thanks [link] [comments] |

Vengeful Spirit support (with Replay Commentary) Posted: 06 Jul 2018 12:05 AM PDT
Venge is a good pick against: Faceless Void: He chronos someone, you swap. Juggernaut: You can force him to use Blade Furry by throwing your stun. When Jugg is using Spin + TP, Venge can interrupt him by using Nether Swap. Monkey King: When he's on the tree, you can use Wave of Terror to provide vision and swap him out. MK will get stunned immediately. Tinker: Use Wave of Terror when he's hiding inside the tree. Swap him out and stun. Pudge: When your allies are caught by Pudge, you can save them by swapping either Pudge or your allies depending on the situation. Venge is a good pick with: Luna, Drow Ranger, Life Stealer, Templar Assassin; anyone that has high physical damage. https://youtu.be/eNig_WUmK50 (Replay Commentary) Check the link above if you want to find out how I played Venge in my own game. I tried to talk a lot about my decision makings and thinking process. It was played around Divine 3-4 average. [link] [comments] |
storm spirit direct or indirect buff should take place? Posted: 06 Jul 2018 08:32 AM PDT has 30-40% winrate in pro and low pickrate. maybe bloodstone should be reverted or his ulti manacost lowered? [link] [comments] |
